Fantastic Stunning setting, super comfortable cabin and wonderfully equipped with some nice touches such as bread, milk, cereals and coffee. Sheila and Pat could not have been more helpful, really excellent communication, cannot find a single reason to fault.

What an absolute gem of a place to stay, Sheila and Pat have built these wonderful cottages up on one of the highest areas in Glen Aplin near Stanthorpe Qld . We stayed in the cottage that was disabled accessible as we had our daughter in her wheelchair with us. Full-size wet floor shower and toilet, well-equipped kitchen and lounge /dining area with views to die for . Wood burning fireplace along with reverse cycle air-con made sure we were warm and comfortable. Barbeque on the deck with table and chairs to soak up the ambiance and the views, nice bush walk up to the top of the mountain on the property was a lot of fun and a bit of hard work { ok were not spring chickens anymore} but the view was worth it with lots of birds and a lovely dark colored rock wallaby crossing the path. Make sure you meet Patch the owner's dog he is lovable.

This is the most amazing well cared for and loved property i have stayed in. You can feel the care that went into every detail and it feels like home. Take the time to sit on the beautiful north facing deck and watch the sun set. You wont regret it.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this place is. You can tell the thought and love that has gone into these cabins Duran to the smallest detail. Nothing says contentment like hanging out in front of a fire with your person. So relaxing and a view our to window to die for. Our rug up and sit on the deck with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. We cannot wait to go back.

We stayed in the cabin for 3 nights and it is a hidden gem.The owners made us feel very welcome and the log fire just an added bonus to a very peaceful stay. Breakfast provided and TV that we never turned as being in the middle of nature and beautiful surroundings, was all that was needed. We will return again in winter.Highly recommended for anyone needing a peaceful break.Thank you Pat and Sheila.

Went here in January with my wife. Really enjoyed the peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Heaps of birds around and wow, the views from the deck were just amazing. Sheila and Pat were so accomodating to our needs and very welcoming to us when we arrived. The cabins were spotless. Loved the sliding barn doors and the organic eggs for breakfast were delicious. Plenty of space to run around. We went up to the top of the hill to the large boulder, and the views from there were even better again, well worth the short walk. Loved the nil light pollution, we saw soo many stars, only wished I brought my telescope. Loads of vineyards and wineries and restaurants nearby. We caught the wine bus tour, which left us outside the cabin. Amazing weekend, will be back soon.
