This was a lovely motel close to Waikanae beach which has a great walkway. Also walkable to town & other places e.g Tairawhiti museum. Really friendly welcome & fantastic recommendations - go to Tahu for dinner & around the corner to Sunshine brewery for beer & pizza. Sky tv was unexpected bonus. Lovely place to stay in Gisborne.

Stayed in 1bed garden view. This building we were in was quite dated, as opposed to the other building which looked more modern The shower is a blast from the past never seen one like it & hate shower curtains. But pressure was great even if water would go hot & cold, if anyone used the toilet or sink. Honestly it's an ok for a 1 night stay, any longer & the couch would give you backache, plus it's covered in a blanket to hide the fabric under. A more comfortable lounge would add to making this apt more inviting. The wardrobe would also be very limited if a few clothes in it & the drawers have a slight musty smell. Full kitchen if you need to cook & has the essentials. But the place was very clean so kudos to the cleaning staff & the bed extremely comfortable & happy as to find blankets, something a lot of motels do not have anymore Aircon in lounge area with only a pedestal fan in bedroom Short walk to beach front.

The facilities are fantastic for a motel. It was extremely clean, well maintained and very homely. We loved it. Great place to stay if you're doing the first light marathon in the future as it's close to the start line, and very close to the beach ( about a 1 min walk) .

This motel was fine - the parking is a bit tight and one night when we were coming home after dinner our ‘space’ was taken so we parked in front of another unit and I felt a bit awkward doing that in case they weren’t back themselves yet.

Was close to town and beach
Our room had bbq and picnic table lovely little garden
Size of room was perfect , clean and beds comfortable

Property was fresh, clean and modern. Manager was very helpful in advising places to eat and visit. Location was great, close to beach. Very professional outfit and will be top of my list for places to stay when next in area. Thoroughly recommend this property.
