Pretty reasonable, quiet location with lots of native birds around on the trees, clean place, a little away from the town but not a big deal, staff wise average when greeting, could be better, a nice size TV available but no internet connection; at the arrival was given a small bottle of milk which was dispensed from the original packaging so wasn’t able to tell the expiry date, type of milk or trust the contents!, so would be more hygienic and trustworthy to be given a small sealed long life milk, during the night, we could get only couple of hours sleep as there was a few mosquitos around who took a good care of us annoyingly. Managed to find inspect spray middle of the night in the cupboard to give back their hospitality.

We stayed at the Motel last Friday night Aug 26th after reading recent reviews on Trip Adviser. We were pleasantly impressed that those raving reviews were true. Yes it’s not 5 star but for a modest affordable Motel it was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean, smelt nice, bed was comfortable, heater worked well, staff friendly and helpful. It appears like the management have actually thought, how can we make our Motel an excellent experience for travellers? and have made it happen. Congratulations Castlereagh Motor Inn

Quiet country motel with the little extras I’ve never had before. Take away coffee cups in yr room to use when you leave I thought was a great idea. Even a coloured make up facial washer instead of staining the white linen, another great idea. The room was very spacious and they also do breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Really good. It’s older style but don’t let that put you off. The rooms are large, quiet and clean. TV is huge. Beds really comfortable and linen is spotless. There’s plenty of tea, coffee etc and lovely little milk bottle with fresh milk. A nice touch is the take away cups so you can make a cuppa before you head off the next day. We stayed there on the way up to QLD and liked it so much we stayed there again on our way home to Melbourne! Julie, in the office, is really lovely and helpful. Definitely would stay there again.

Value for money
Although this is an old motel it has had a bathroom renovation and our room was lovely and clean. I loved the floor boards rather than carpet and the room was quite spacious. The heater was on and the room was warm on arrival. The supply of paper travelling coffee/tea cups was a nice touch. As it was an overnight stay, we were very happy with the price and the quietness of the motel.
