We just got home from our one night visit at the Brafferton, I wish I could give them 10 stars!!! I spent a few hours looking at all the B&B’s in Gettysburg before picking this one, after walking by some of the others I am so glad we selected this one. It is decorated so beautifully and has such a warm welcoming feel. We stayed in Dorothy’s Hideway, it is so charming and the bed and sheets are so comfy! Everything was so very clean! They are located right in the heart of all the action. The breakfast absolutely delicious, I think I could drive there again (3.5 hours) just to get the breakfast pastry! The family was so kind and helpful. My only regret was that we could only stay one night.

Our stay at the Brafferton Bed and Breakfast built in 1786 just seemed like an appropriate place to stay in Gettysburg. It was charming and the hosts were exceptional. The breakfast was five star ! We would definitely stay there again. Tim & Jessica F Ohio

Delightful stay in a beautiful inn. Service is wonderful, the breakfast muffins alone are worth the visit! The husband, wife and son innkeepers are helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing. We stayed at one of the rooms up front and had no problem with street noise as the air conditioning soothed over the street sounds. There is a peaceful garden out back, coffee, cookies and a quiet common room. Highly recommend!

Downtown Gettysburg is so historic and quaint and the Brafferton Inn B&B fits right in there perfectly. The original part of the Inn just oozes history and charm. I stayed in Tillies Room and found it to be enjoyable and refreshing. It was so hot outside too and the AC worked just fine. Owners Brian and Amy and their staff were so nice and a pleasure to talk with about the Inn and the town. Breakfast was excellent as well. I was even able to get my son to join me for my day 2 breakfast. I highly recommend you stay at the Brafferton Inn B&B when you are able. In fact, I will be visiting Gettysburg again in September and plan to stay again here.

My daughter and I recently stayed in the loft suite at the Brafferton. The inn itself was quaint and beautifully decorated, and the owners and staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were to die for and left us filled for the entire day! The suite was huge with two big bedrooms, comfortable beds and arm chairs, a nicely sized bathroom, and an eating area with a drop leaf table, small fridge, microwave, and coffee station. While we were there, it was quite hot, but the rooms stayed comfortable with AC units. We also appreciated how architecturally interesting the suite was with its exposed stonework. We found the location of the inn very convenient. There were lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance or just a short drive, and it was just a quick drive to the battlefield's Visitor Center. On our two-week road trip, we the Brafferton was our favorite stay.

The Brafferton Inn is a delightful property located in the center of Gettysburg, PA. I enjoyed a night there in mid April 2025. The website is very informative, accurate and easy to use in making reservations. I arrived around 4:00 PM and found temporary parking conveniently marked for check-in on York street directly in front of entrance to the inn. Parking after checkin is located at a safe location just 200 feet away. The hosts and proprietors, Brian and Amy Beth, greeted me at the foyer with smiles and a warm welcome. After check-in, they gave me an orientation tour of the property and informed me of the comforts and hospitality services and amenities for my stay. All rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated. I found myself enjoying their cookies while admiring the historical paintings and artwork in each common room. There are plenty of books and magazines on topics of the local history and tourism. I booked the Battle room upstairs overlooking York street. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and most comfortably pleasant for relaxing, and sleep. There are at least a half dozen restaurants and taverns within 2-3 blocks walk. A delicious prepared breakfast awaits you in the morning. The Brafferton Inn exceeded my expectations for a night in Gettysburg. I'll be back to the Brafferton Inn again soon as a destination for an enjoyable getaway.

Thank you to Brian and Amy for a lovely room (The Loft) delicious breakfast, beautiful garden and overall excellent experience. We wanted our Gettysburg experience to be special and The BRAFFERTON checked all the boxes - above and beyond. The location and parking arrangement was just right. The house had a lovely character and felt very welcoming!

Loved the history of the Brafferton! Brian and Amy are great! This was our first stay at a B&B and we loved it. The breakfasts were delicious. The inn is beautiful and historic. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Make sure to get the chocolate covered strawberries…so good! Everything about our experience was 5 star. Highly recommend!
