"Wonderful place where we stayed as a family. Quiet, very well maintained, properly furnished. Special mention goes to the efficient and proper daily cleaning of our apartment. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The place is well situated near the biggest supermarket in Georgioupolis, amazing bakery, restaurants. The bus stop to Chania is 50 m. The swimming pool is clean and nice. We will definitely return to this place to stay in Georgioupolis."

"Recently returned from a weeks holiday staying at the Pilot Amphora. The hotel stay was excellent from start to finish. The manager was visible and approachable every day, ensuring all was well and he and all his team worked hard with attention to detail and in a calm, courteous and unhurried manner. The food was great, particularly the buffet breakfast which had lots of choice and all fresh and tasty including the choice of eggs cooked to order. Our room was very comfortable and a good size and the shower was perfect. Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. The location of the hotel is great on the periphery of the town and was very quiet and peaceful. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would also love to return in the future."

"The rooms were very modern, we were given a cold plate of food on arrival (1am), and there were 2 bottle of water in the fridge. The air conditioning was very good and the bed was comfy. The TV can connect to Netflix, Disney, YouTube and anything else, we used a HDMI cable. There was a sewage smell sometimes in the room near the sink and bathroom. We had a nice view of the sea even though we did not pay for sea view. We had booked mare garden but was actually put in mare village but this was not an issue for us, although at checkout we did see 2 couples complaining that they were not staying in rooms as nice as advertised. The let down for us was the food and drinks. I have not seen any other review say this (because it is not mentioned anywhere) but I think it is good to know that the restaurant is shared between 6 hotels: mare garden, mare village, mare boutique, mare blue suites, fereniki resort and summer beach hotel. For a 4 star hotel, I would not really expect to have a restaurant shared with so many others. The food quality was very inconsistent. Breakfast food was often cold (eggs, bacon, beans, mushrooms)- so I ended up having onion rings and pancakes which were freshly cooked, so these were not too bad. There is also yoghurt and fruit. We found that the nicest cakes and doughnuts were served at breakfast which is a bit strange, even for being on holiday. We found that during lunch and dinner, we would go up a 2nd time for food and some things would be replaced with completely different things. Labels are confusing and misleading so be careful is you have allergies or dietary requirements. Overall, they had some nice options, but was quite disappointing. The pool snack bar had pots of fruit, yoghurt and sandwiches. The sandwiches were not great but the fruit and yoghurt were, although they were not at all fresh. The reception has left over cake slices which are okay if you’re hungry. When you were guided to your seat to eat, waiters would come to your table immediately and ask what you wanted to drink. They worked tirelessly throughout the day and were very nice. The staff in general were nice. There are 4 bars that you have access to with all inclusive: the restaurant, reception, the pool bar and the beach bar. I think you can go to the sister hotels but not quite sure. The soft drinks were cola, cola lite, Fanta orange, Fanta lemon, sprite, tonic water and juices. Every bar we got drinks from had a completely different quality, even for the same drinks - I ended up mostly drinking water. We tried some of the cocktails, which were best at the pool and beach bar. These were also very varied in their quality depending on the bartender and could be very weak or very strong alcohol. We liked the blue lagoon cocktail. The water in the mini fridge is not replenished, and if you want a bottle from one of the bars they charge you €3 which is crazy, although they do have water in little kegs with fruit. "I like it very much. The room is 58€. There is everything ready. We booked for parents. You are very happy. You can see the view of the fountain in the middle of Georgioupoli. Nice staff, lovely, drinking water, tea, coffee, soap, shampoo, fragrant. From the accommodation, you can walk to the sea in 500 meters, not far away, there is a place to walk around, want to come again, one night is really not enough."

"First time here in Crete and in this hotel. Very happy because we had a free upgrade in Harmony hotel. Had good time, took a few nice trips around the island. Enjoyed Chania town a lot. Met some great people from the staff like Amber from animation who does sports and is highly friendly, also Kaan from guest real actions who helped us with our tv problems and some others."

"Excellent customer service!! Rooms were nice and clean. The room was really good. Hotel felt safe and was within great walking distance to square and beach. Overall I also felt safe and secure. The hotel is in a real nice area. Can't wait to come back next year."
