Avoid if possible
One of the worst experiences ever! I highly recommend avoiding HomeTowne Studios if at all possible. I stayed at the studios section rather than the motel (i.e. Red Roof). Here are the problems I encountered:
1. Once a week room service, although twice was promised
2. Rude lobbyist for check-in! Constantly arguing with customers; then, claiming that he "only works there"
3. Deposit was not mentioned in the reservations; and if credit card was used $5 was not refunded at check-out
4. Location is nowhere near park or walkable to anything but a pizza parlor that is in front of the lobby
5. Coffee is offered in the lobby, but not fresh!
6. My room was not completed! For instance, the microwave was not properly installed; at least a small one was put on the counter.
7. No toilet paper dispenser!!!!!
The biggest PLUS for this place was:
1. Rooms were remodeled and clean
