Nice big room, very comfortable bed and great bathroom, easy parking, shame about the building works but did not impact stay. Air-conditioning in room did not work and it was a very hot weekend with no breeze so room was very hot. Otherwise perfect

So much building work going on. Lift broken. Just loud all the time. Could hear other people all night. Kids barely slept. Breakfast was ok.

One of the rooms were cancelled, but this was not the hotels fault. It was in the app. The hotel was being renovated and I’m sure that it will be very good when finished!

We needed an overnight stop and found this hotel easily from the motorway, but I wish we hadn't! Following an indifferent welcome at reception, we went to our "executive" room which was so small we had to store our cases in the bathroom overnight so we could walk around the bed. The room itself, like the rest of the hotel, looked as though it was overdue for refurbishment about 20 years ago. The room had been poorly cleaned (see photographs) and the furnishings were very shabby. The smell of stale cigarette smoke permeated the property. Overall the hotel left a very poor impression of the Best Western brand which will make me think carefully before choosing another.

Gembloux is not blessed with lots of good hotels, sadly the Best Western is not does not stand out even so... Start with positives, it is easy to find, near the station (200m), staff are good and the breakfast is good. But the rooms...oh dear... I attach a photo. Very small There is no aircon, windows/doors do not open properly because of curtain arrangement, and there is quite a lot of road noise Also the little garden is now not in use and has no chairs/tables for sitting outside. No, it has suffered since I last visited a few years back and I shall start searching for alternatives. I will write a review of Saint Loup as a resturant (good) and it has some rooms but maybe they are to far away?

Restaurant has been recently refitted, but the rooms are in serious need of updating. My bed was only a single, was uncomfortable and creaked loudly with every toss and turn. The fly screen for the room wouldn't lock which caused it to knock in the wind during the night, also woke up one morning and my patio door was open which made the room cold and noisy.

We had booked this hotel for one night as we were celebrating a wedding at this location...disappointing experience. Rooms are expensive (for this location), no charm with a parking view (noisy), unclean (as we were searching the room for any missing item, I found an underwear!!!! Obviously not mine...which I left in the bin among other items found on the floor), no wifi (room 105 is too far away from the antenna we were told next morning)...beyond imagination. Breakfast is simple but ok. Overall, to be avoided.
