Having remembered many wonderful family holidays years ago we were looking forward to a three night stay in this hotel we loved as children. Sadly the real efforts of the staff could not overcome the really poor level of management that has brought down what was once a lovely hotel. The food offer is, at best, the kind of fare you might expect at a Travelodge while a general feel of weariness surrounds every part of the place. We did not stay for three nights - it was only one - and we were glad to leave. So please, new owners, sort out the management and decide what you want this hotel to be.

We finally book a few hotels in the region.. we chose those with spa, swimming pool, sauna! So frustrating when they are what we expected ! Sauna has a big old sign that it can’t be used ! Frustrating!
