The homestay was very cozy, and I was amazed at the owner's kindness and warmth; she is extremely welcoming to foreigners. She even cooked us two meals, both of which were delicious. In addition, there is a small trail network behind the homestay which leads up a canyon to a seasonal waterfall, which was totally unexpected and a beautiful surprise. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area and would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay, Lian Jie was very generous and hospitable. She showed me how caves were created and made me a three course dinner! There was great hot water shower and heating panel which kept me feeling toasty even as the temperature plummeted in the night. Definitely recommend this place when you go to the Yucha canyon - it’s 3km away and a fantastic way to help the local economy while enjoying local hospitality.

再次感謝連姐的真誠款待。 我們家裡4家長者+我一共9人從西安自駕到榆林， 在連姐家預訂了5間窯洞雙大床房。 沒想到天公不做美，到達甘泉後發現當地在刮7級大風，陰雨天+氣温直降到10度。 我們臨時決定取消當日參觀大峽谷的計劃, 直接開往下一站延安。 這時我們已經放棄了預付的定金（畢竟攜程標示的是不可取消，而且連姐中午也發微信説她已經買好了我們晚飯預訂的菜）。沒想到的是，在得知我們要取消預訂後，連姐二話不説，立刻全額退回了訂金；當我還在猶豫是否因該領取這個退款時，連姐又連續3次打我電話“威脅我”她會一直騷擾我，直到我領取退款。 最終，我們全家決定一定要在回西安的路上在連姐家住上一晚。
3天後，在一個陽光明媚的下午，我們再次回到了甘泉。 當我們開進了一個略有荒坡的村子， 走進通往她院子的狹窄小道時，這個民宿的衞生條件和環境多少還是讓我有些忐忑不安。 但是當我看到了連姐燦爛的笑容，走進她精心準備的窯洞時，一切顧慮瞬間煙飛雲散。 毫無誇張，這是我見過最乾淨的民宿。 裝修簡單，兩張2米大床，乾淨的被褥/浴巾，空套加浴霸+熱水器。 最讓我覺得不可思議的是民宿的大理石地板，在這個沙土狂飛的黃土高坡上，竟然能被連姐打掃的一塵不染（比我上海家裡的地板都乾淨）
晚飯我們享用了連姐專門按照我們口味要求準備的8菜一湯+她養的大公雞。 全家人對口味都非常滿意。 飯後，我們一起坐在連姐的院子裏，喝着酒拉着連姐一起聊家常（這一晚絕對是我們這次出行最開心的一個晚上）。
晚上窯洞非常安靜，早上我們也都沒聽到連姐養的大公雞打鳴（這讓我們都非常不解）。
連姐家一共有6個窯洞，一個自住。 位置在甘泉大峽谷景區入口後面2公里的一個小村裡。 這個位置特別不起眼，因為絕大部分遊客肯定會選擇景區前2/3公里比較大的下寺灣縣或者景區門口的一些窯洞民宿。 如果你想找一個相對安靜整潔的小民宿，同時體驗一下陝北農村人民的真誠，淳樸和熱情，那麼連姐絕對是你最好的選擇。
