"Every time we stay here it's amazing! The first time we stayed here was - as a couple - 16 years ago and it's still one of my favorite places in the world! This is our 5th visit. Now we are here back again with our 11 year old daughter. This time we have booked the Junior Superior Suite. In earlier trips we stayed in a different room or one of the appartments with friends or family. They offer for example 4 or 6 persons appartments. But this room was perfect for our little family! The owners are truly lovely, amazing and kind warm people. The service is perfect! Located between Volterra and San Gimigano this is a perfect location! With beautiful views from the infinity pool on the hills. On one of them you will have a view of Volterra. Il Defizio offers a delicious breakfast with lots of options, lunch and 2x per week you can enjoy an amazing dinner! These dinners you definitely do not want to skip! Within 15 minutes drive by car, supermarkets and shops are available. Il Defizio can advise you on the local restaurants nearby or in other towns. Definitely would recommend to spend your holiday here! Super romantic and also perfect for a visit with family or friends. "

"Tenuta quadrifoglio..... Where do I even begin?? What a magical place. We were lucky enough to get married here just last week and I'll never forget how amazing this beautiful venue was, the pictures don't do it justice. We booked out all accommodation for 64 of our guests and every single room/apartment was pristine. Everything was clean and worked perfectly with it's beautiful tuscan decor, there were no complaints or issues with any of our guests. We did have some small children with us including my 2 & 3 year olds so I would say if you're traveling with kids to check out the apartment descriptions on the tenuta's website when booking as some had quite steep stairs, we stayed in Rosmarino which was all ground floor and perfect for us as our two toddlers could roam around freely. The pool was wonderful, the perfect size with a kids area too. The surrounding area was clean and well kept, we enjoyed plenty of time there catching up and enjoying the absolutely stunning views. We loved the little hidden park and the toys down by the bistro, there was plenty to keep the young children entertained the whole time we were there meaning we could relax - both were fantastic touches. The FOOD! The whole time we were there we ate at the bistro and it was devine, I didn't eat one thing that I didn't like - beautiful! Francesco is a fantastic cook and the dishes were amazing. The waiting staff in the bistro were also wonderful, they looked after us continually - even running food/drinks orders to the pool or rooms when we needed it. Must give special mention to Bridget and Kristana who looked after us so amazingly and attentively, my children loved them both and had them tortured. I can't sing the praises of Grace at the front desk enough, she was fantastic through our whole stay and she went above and beyond to make sure we had a magical stay and wedding which we certainly did. Her male counterpart at reception was also superb (I'm so sorry I didn't catch his name!) We are now back in Ireland and all of our guests are still chatting about what an amazing time they had and how wonderful this venue is. We will definitely return to Tenuta Quadrifoglio and highly recommend anyone to visit - you will not be disappointed."

"What a great first introduction to Tuscany. We felt so relaxed coming here. The location is close to San Gimignano and other wonderful spots to explore. We wish we could’ve stayed longer! It was a breath of fresh air & a wonderful place to just relax (no noise). The atmosphere and space is tranquil, with clean and cozy rooms. We also loved the poolside experience during warm days (& it has a bar). The breakfast spread was great (see pic!) & we loved the trattoria for getting an authentic impression of local food and wine. Well worth your money! TIP- try to book a room near the trattoria / pool if you can. There is another building near reception which is a 5- 10 min walk down the road."

"We stayed in a beautiful three bedroom apartment in this Agriturismo. A very nice breakfast was provided. They also offered a set price evening meal about once a week. The apartment was very well equipped and spacious. It was located on an operating vineyard and olive grove. There was also a very nice pool. The farm was located in the country so you would need a vehicle to get around. The stay was amazing but perhaps the best thing about it was the presence of the owner Ilaria. Nothing seamed to bother her and her cheerful and very helpful disposition made the stay over the top."

"All in all, a positive experience. Comfortable rooms, the thermal baths just across the square were a pleasant surprise, €30 to get in, salt pools, a heated Jacuzzi, and a very nice sauna. Just what was needed after a very long walk on the Camino. Breakfast rations were a bit limited, but comfortable rooms with good beds and bedding, and all fine ."
