Found Hotel to be extremely clean, all staff are very courteous from management all the way down, made to feel most welcome. Food is excellent. Would be happy to return.

Stay was fantastic

As an experienced business and leisure traveller, I was very disappointed with this hotel, which is definitely not five star. The rooms are shabby and very few of the staff are properly trained or can understand English. We booked a Delux and were given a damp dark room in the basement with a caterpillar in the shower. We insisted on changing rooms but the only available room was a suite (a nice spacious room with private pool) which cost us an additional $100. The buffet was ok, with some good Indian options, but not outstanding or very extensive. Front desk staff were generally unfriendly and did not make us feel welcome. I do not recommend staying here unless you can get a huge discount and are happy with a mediocre hotel.

We visited during off-season, so there were very few other guests. The first morning we had an unusual "set" breakfast, which was understandable as no buffet was offered when there were so few guests. Water pressure/temperature was unstable and there was a weird pulsating noise in the bathroom. On the positive side, the staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. It's a lovely estate in absolute terms and stunning in relative terms. Very near the trendy fort area, which is worth a visit. Overall pleased.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Service was incredible and the scenery is without par in Galle. I highly recommend this hotel for families.

The geographical location is very good and the scenery is beautiful, but the service really needs to be improved! The hygiene of the room is really poor. The floor, table, chairs, etc. have not been cleaned for a long time. It is estimated that cleaning the room is just a replacement of bedding, which does not meet this price range. I would like to give a negative review! Ctrip is also very garbage and cannot book two rooms at the same time, but booking one room at a time will immediately double the price of the next order! 携程很垃圾，不能同时定两间，可是一间一间的定房，下一单立马涨价翻两倍！

Hotel is contemporary design just outside the fort area 15m walk great pool overlooking the ocean if it was not so rocky they would have their own beach rooms are very large some with a plunge pool excellent breakfast great choices veg if you prefer the staff are polite and will do anything to help if you like the old colonial style stay in the fort wall's

The cleanest hotel I stayed in during my two-week stay in Sri Lanka, with smart toilet, simple decoration, large space and sea view. Recommended The weather was not good, but overall it was very good!

The location is excellent, and the environment, facilities, sanitation and service are all excellent.

Excellent stay. The facilities and service are fantastic. About 15 minutes walk from Galle Fort. My only recommendation is that the hotel should teach English to the restaurant staff as we had communication problems during both dinner and breakfast which caused misunderstandings in our selection of dishes.

The sea view is very good. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, the service is acceptable and the facilities are complete. You can see the beautiful sunset on the hotel beach. The breakfast is also great. Recommended!
