Clean room and bathroom. Restaurant very basic. No wine or beer and only very average buffet. No ala carte.
However free tea and coffee with cookies!

The hotel, whilst obviously older, was very pleasant to stay at. Room was clean, staff were helpful and courteous, price was very acceptable.

We stayed at this hotel for one night when nothing else was available. We wanted a nice hotel after being hiking for a few days. The hotel is really simple and more like a motel or hostel. The quality is simple and rooms old and shabby. Beds are not good at all, duvet old and the room was dirty when we arrived. There’s air condition in the room kept us awake almost the whole night. After eating breakfast we found that the fruit was bad and got this sour/old taste. We tried to tell the manager, but he claimed in on our kid. Otherwise the food is just basic. The view from the dining hall is great over the lake.

Visited the hotel as part of a short trip to Lappland. Easy to locate, and a stunning lakeside view. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, replacing feather pillows because of my wife’s asthma. Room fairly basic but warm and comfortable, and the view out of the window was spectacular. Meals were fine, if limited. A very comfortable place to stay.

We booked a lake view room for an overnight stay in this comfortable hotel on the Wilderness Road. The view from the room widow was uninterrupted across the lake. Our room had a good bed, decent quality bedding and simple furniture. Reasonably sized bathroom with plenty of hot water in the shower. The staff were great, (especially the lone person on breakfast duty who had to cook, clear, restock and manage reception all on her own), breakfast was ok but they struggled to keep it stocked and there’s a lounge area overlooking the lake where you can get a drink and a biscuit. There was also a fridge in the lounge with a freezer and you can get a beer or microwave a meal there when the bar and restaurant are closed. The curtains in our room did nothing to keep out the light overnight but did provide some privacy and I would have preferred images of the local area and history rather than the dull artwork in the room but aside from that, we had a good stay. Free parking right outside the front door. Recommended.

Do not stay herr... worst service ever experienced in my entire life. The accommodation is not fresh and the price is high. The boss likes to sit on his ass and does as little as possible. the only positive thing we have to say about the place was the beautiful view over the lake and the mountains
