Located next to Lake Mondsee in Austria, this is a B&B-style hotel with a lot of history. The entire hotel is so large that it is easy to get lost if you go there for the first time. The food is very rich.

Zimmer und Ausstattung sind eines 4S Hotels entsprechend gut. Leider ist das Restaurant Gütl allerdings schwach. Für ziemlich gesalzene Preise war leider auch die Suppe versalzen. Die Hauptspeisen teilweise eher klein. Eine hausgemachte Pasta welche zum Essen zu trocken war, ein verkochter Risotto.. Auch war ich mir der frische der Zutaten leider nicht immer sicher. Hoffentlich bessert sich die Situation.

Das Hotel ist sehr stilvoll gestaltet, hat für jeden etwas zu bieten. Sehr schöner und großer Wellnessbereich, sowohl der Aussenpool bei Schönwetter als auch Saunalandschaft sehr zu empfehlen. Der kleine aber feine Badestrand am See bietet auch Kajaks, SUP-boards und Ruderboote zur freien Entleihe. Unser Zimmer mit Balkon und Seeblick war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Personal sehr freundlich und professionell. Auch mit dem kulinarischen Angebot waren wir sehr zufrieden - Speisen mit Blick auf den See, ein Traum. Die Gegend bietet sehr viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten und ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert!

Es war nur traumhaft Seele baumeln lassen und sich erholen Wunderschönes Zimmer sämtliches Personal super freundlich Ambiente rings herum ein Traum Wir kommen wieder Habe beschlossen Muttern zum 80 und Vatern zum 90 diesen Traum zu gönnen und werde es ihnen schenken:)

Wunderschöne Anlage mit tollem Angebot für Kinder. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind nicht mehr die neuesten, aber sauber, das Badezimmer wurde kürzlich renoviert. Wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick auf den Fuschlsee mit kleinem Balkon (Junior Suite Schafberg). Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, es gab auch Optionen bei Unverträglichkeiten (z.B. glutenfreies Müsli, Hafermilch). Das Abendessen war gut (Vorbestellung nach Karte, eher kleine Portionen), für die Kinder gab es ein Kinder-Buffet (eher wenig Auswahl). Zwischen 13 und 16 Uhr gab es Salatbuffet und zwei warme Speisen im Buffet, für uns als Mittagessen völlig ausreichend. Der Poolbereich war toll (ein großer Innen- und Außenpool, ein Wellness-Bereich, ein kleines Solebecken mit Unterwasserradio ab 14 Jahren), alle Pools waren auf 30-35 Grad erwärmt, die Kinder hatten ihren Spaß. Den Spa-Bereich haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen. Auch im See waren wir Ende April nicht schwimmen. Für die Kinder gab es zwei Spielbereiche, einen für Kleinkinder, einen für Schulkinder und Jugendliche (u.a. Billard, Tischfußball, Dart, Playstation). Der kleine Minigolfplatz war auch sehr nett. Die Außenparkplätze waren recht voll, wir haben aber immer sofort einen Parkplatz gefunden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Das Hotel ist echt groß und hat einfach jede Menge Angebote - von Pool und Wellness, über Spielplatz, Minigolf, Kinderclub, Strandbereich etc. So ziemlich alles da! Personal überwiegend freundlich, Essen war gut, aber besonders beim Frühstück herrscht doch eher Bahnhofs-Atmosphäre. Abendessen ist etwas besser aber vom Ambiente leider nicht ganz so gelungen, wenn man in einem der großen Räume platziert ist. Das Hotel ist sehr groß und durch viele Umbauten sehr verwinkelt - da dauert es etwas bis man sich zurecht findet. Zimmer top - von Ausstattung bis Sauberkeit. Saunen und Pools auch toll. Bis auf die kleinen Verbesserungsideen nix zu meckern….
