Wonderful experience and the best hotel during our stay in Madeira. Perfect price and value proposition with a staff who are really customers oriented and friendly. Smaller hotel what is never overcrowded. Nice charming design elements. Very good breakfast with selection of local cheeses and meat. Real juice would be the only needed improvement and some pastel de Nata for the breakfast would add to the mandatory Portuguese experience. Otherwise 100% perfect stay. Excellent swimming pool with sea water. Yes. The rooms are somewhat dated but super clean and comfortable. I didn't came here to see golden chandeliers so l was super satistied! Excellent location and direct sea access. What more could one look for??

A hotel with a lot of charm in a calm and green garden. I enjoyed the sea water pool with a sun deck right next to the sea. The location is nice as it is walking distance to the main sights in Funchal. Hotel is older but well maintained.

It was a hotel that seemed to have been converted from an old house into a hotel. The rooms and corridors were decorated with a sense of style. The beds were comfortable, and there were two swimming pools, one on the sea side and one on the hill, so they were convenient to use. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly and nice. If I come to Madeira again, I think I will use this hotel again.

The hotel is well located and accessible to Funchal's public transport network. The breakfast is good and of quality. The rooms are comfortable and clean. As it is an old farm converted into a hotel, there is a country atmosphere that gives it a unique touch.

We arrived around 1:00 a.m. and received a warm welcome. The receptionist showed us to our room with a smile. In the room, a complimentary bottle of water, coffee, and tea were provided. The garden is very well maintained, and the restaurant staff is very pleasant. Parking is easily accessible.

We were going on a cruise; we needed a hotel within walking distance of the port. And it exceeded expectations, we love small hotels without scurrying crowds. It is very soulful here: a large room with a window with small glazing and a frame that slides up. A door leading to a terrace. Birds singing - after all, we are in a garden. A bathroom with two sinks and a bath (so tired of uncomfortable showers!). A wonderful breakfast, where you can cut your own jamon right off your leg, home-style. The interiors are divine! They shoot this in Poirot films: fireplaces, libraries, huge bouquets of flowers, massive staircases, On the doors there are not bells, but various knockers. I want to go back.

Hotel in the very center of Funchal. Within walking distance of the center with shops and restaurants and transport. In the evening it is pleasant to walk along the embankment. Pools with sea water. Well-groomed territory.

Great location relative to Funchal. Great room, a bit old-fashioned. Because we had been here before, we saw that the hotel had been refurbished, but it did not really have a nice atmosphere. The carpeting has been replaced by cold canvas. White light everywhere, also in the rooms, it lacks atmosphere. Breakfast is the same every morning, as are the staff, they are busy with each other instead of with guests.  There is often a sewer smell around the hotel.  We were charmed by the location and the view, otherwise it leaves something to be desired.

The staff were all very kind, but the facilities were basic. There were no slippers, no tissues, no shampoo, conditioner or body soap in the room, only hand soap. Also, even though I'm a woman, my room was on the first floor and was completely visible from the pool unless I closed the curtains, and I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. The staff were very kind to me, so I don't want to say anything bad about it, but I feel like they could have done something about it. However, I wanted to catch the ferry, so I stayed at the closest hotel to the ferry terminal.

Simply wonderful, excellent service at the reception, the breakfast was very delicious, not to mention that on the day we returned, as we had a super early flight, the hotel left a cup of coffee in advance especially for when we were going to leave. Next time I will have no doubts about where to rest again. Congratulations to everyone at the hotel.
