The Pearl Seaview

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Fulidhoo, I would highly highly recommend The Pearl Seaview. From the staffs to the accommodation services, it was exceptionally wonderful. The hospitality, the punctuality, the amiability, everything was top notch. We’ve booked all our excursions and activities with them as well, it was all so worth it. You can book snorkeling (with sharks, turtles, manta/sting rays, the vaavu shipwreck), go fishing, diving, etc. with them directly and no matter what you ask for, they make sure it happens even if it is not chargeable. We couldn’t have been happier and satisfied with the place and the staffs. The place was very clean and the view was so beautiful from the window. I would like to specially thank the respectful receptionist Sunil for taking care of all our needs, boat crew Thasneem (Ganda) and captain Jambe for the best experience with snorkeling. They are very trustworthy. Also thank you to all the other staffs - room boys Sanpath and Asad, chef Kumar for the best food we devoured, and restaurant staff Abishek. Honorary mention to the manager Mohamed Shanyz (OT) for keeping in touch and making sure we have the best stay with everything being in an orderly manner even though he wasn’t physically present. Thanks to everyone and Marey and Ibbe for hiring such amazing staffs because there wasn’t one person or thing we were not satisfied with!

My wife and I had some of our favorite moments of travel while staying at The Pearl Seaview on the island of Fulidhoo. In the same stay we got to swim with dozens of sharks, dolphins, and relax on a secluded sandbank! The family owned guesthouse made sure that we had the best experience possible. Mohammed, Eamon, and the entire team are so incredibly kind and made us feel really welcomed on their beautiful island! The Pearl Seaview just recently opened so everything is brand new. We had an incredible view of the ocean from our hotel room. We could see nurse sharks, stingrays, and turtles swimming in the nearby reef! The room was nice and bright, and the bed was very comfortable. The lobby and outdoor lounge area are also great places to relax. In addition to the beautiful guesthouse, the excursions with The Pearl Seaview are incredible. The family has their own speedboat and we never had more than 3 other guests with us on our excursions! It was an incredible feeling being so close to dozens of sharks and dolphins. They charge a fraction of the price as the resorts do for the same excursions. So even if you are planning on staying on a resort island, it is worth saving some money and booking a few extra nights here to go on these incredible excursions with The Pearl Seaview. We loved our stay on Fulidhoo! It has a very relaxing atmosphere yet there was never a dull day during our stay. The reef right off the island is an incredible place to go snorkeling. The water around the island is so clear and there are often rays or nurse sharks swimming in the area. We loved watching the rays and nurse sharks under the lights at the dock at night. Everyone on the island was so welcoming and friendly. It is a great way to experience a little more of the Maldivian culture instead of just flying in and out of a resort island. If you are planning a trip to the Maldives, I highly recommend staying at The Pearl Seaview and booking some of their incredible excursions!

I cancelled my stay here because the reservations team took a ridiculously long time to answer anything. I sent an email - no reply When I called to check for availability they said they’ll get back - never did If you send a text on ig they’d reply after 2 days. I don’t know if they get a lot of demand for the hotel or they just don’t care. Or maybe it’s because I’m a local that they feel like this is not that important. Whatever it is, it’s VERY disappointing. I finally did manage to confirm the booking but had to change the dates. I’ve been asking for the availability of date changes for over a week now and the answer I was given is that he is in Malay and will check the availability once he’s in Maldives. He finally got back today saying that the requested dates are not available. So now I’ll be waiting for the refund. This whole experience has been very frustrating. I hope they take this seriously and try to do a better job. Thanks
