Daiwa Roynet Hotel Fukuyama Ekimae ★★★
"I enjoyed my one night at the hotel. It was conveniently located next to the station. The rooms were clean and some amenities were provided in the lobby. My bathtub drain wouldnt close, so bathing was difficult. Also, the was only one microwave and it was located on a a different floor. Other than that, it was really nice. Great view from my window (castle view room!)."
Fukuyama Royal Hotel ★★
"There is a convenience store about 5 minutes walk away, and shopping facilities and restaurants about 10 minutes walk away, so I think you will be able to spend there without any problems. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis, but there are free areas, and since I only use the shower when I'm working, the plan without a shower in the room was not a problem. The facilities are old, but considering the price, I guess it's acceptable. Thank you for your help."
Fukuyama New Castle Hotel ★★★★★
"Facilities: The single room was a bit smaller, more compact than the twin room I also booked, but overall it was perfectly fine. Big shout out to the ice vendor! Hygiene: Everything was great, from the hotel exterior and parking lot to the interior and the room itself. Environment: The location is excellent! It was pouring rain when we went, but it only took about 20 minutes to drive to Tomonoura! Service: The front desk staff enthusiastically explained all the services, and the parking attendant was very patient in helping us find empty spots!! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Fukuyama. Fukuyama is the best place to stay if you're visiting Onomichi!"
Vessel Inn Fukuyama Station ★★★
"Right outside Fukuyama Station's subway exit, directly across from Fukuyama Castle, it's incredibly convenient – less than a 3-minute walk from the exit. Some rooms even offer views of Fukuyama Castle, making it excellent value for money."
Richmond Hotel Fukuyama Ekimae ★★★
"Clean and comfortable hotel situated close to transport ie train station, shops and restaurants. Comfy beds, great bathtub and good sized rooms. The only drawback was the bright light that would go on in the toilet at night. Breakfast was well organised with lots of choices. There is a laundry with dryers as well but it was on a different floor."
Hotel AreaOne Fukuyama ★★★
"Complimentary bottled water were not given (you should ask it from them), it would ve convenient if those are available immediately inside the room (like coffee, creamer etc.) But overall experience was good."
Keishokan Sazanamitei ★★★★
"Our family of four was looking for a special experience off the beaten path. This hotel was lovely. We reserved a private onsen so we could try that. We also enjoyed our multicourse dinner and authentic Japanese breakfast, package which we never would have known to order. The staff was lovely and the concierge spoke excellent English, which was very helpful for us. Tomonoura is a cute little town and the ferry over to the island was fun."
Sunhotel Fukuyama ★★★
"The hotel is incredibly noisy. There are railway tracks right outside the window, and coal wagons clatter along at 1 or 2 AM, starting again at 4 or 5 AM. The hotel windows offer absolutely no soundproofing. It's like trains are passing overhead. It's the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in. This is due to the hotel's location; there's nothing you can do about it. Who would build a hotel in front of railway tracks? If you want to experience the deafening sound of trains at night, choose this hotel. If not, please avoid it. Terrible, terrible, terrible."
Hotel 1-2-3 Fukuyama ★★
"The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I stayed for five days and had no problems."

"The rooms are very clean and it's close to the station. You can also enjoy the hot springs, although it's at a different hotel."
Tomonoura Shiomachi Hotel
"Superb ryokan hotel, magnificent and ideal if you have a car as there is no public transport and it's far from the center."
Candeo Hotels Fukuyama
"I use it all the time and love the rooftop sauna."
Hotel l'Eclair (Adult Only)
"It's a good hotel for adults and provides free breakfast. Parking is available downstairs. However, one thing to note is that this is an adult hotel. After entering, there is a vending machine-like device to pay, and no one can contact you during the entire stay. If you need breakfast, please call"
Hotel Xcell
"It was very good"
Hotel Ofutei
"The environment and hot springs were both okay, but! The food was the worst of all my many stays at hot spring hotels in Japan, bar none. First of all, it was the first time I saw an eight-course dinner. Secondly, the waiters were probably in their internship and were unprofessional and made mistakes. Most importantly, it was really bad! Except for one fondue, everything else was terrible! Not to mention that it didn't fill us up. It was the first time we finished all the rice at a hot spring hotel. As for breakfast, I won't say anything."
Toyoko Inn Fukuyama-Eki Shinkansen Minami-Guchi
"Service is normal. The environment is acceptable"
Area Inn Fushimicho Fukuyama Castle Side 1-16 - Hostel
"It was really clean, and the service was great. The sleeping area was spacious and comfortable."
Migiwatei Ochi Kochi
"Small and beautifully appointed ryokan/onsen set in the fishing village of Tomonoura about a p mins from Fukuyama. The rooms have balconies that look out to sea. Each room has its own private onsen. Complimentary drinks, Yakutia's to be worn to the dining room and other public areas. The set breakfast and dinner menu was extraordinary. Beautifully presented with some unique and different dishes served by very attentive and respectful attendants. A fantastic experience which will make for wonderful memories!"

Nipponia Tomo Port Town
"They explained how the accommodation is run, and knowing it's operated by local people made me feel very connected to them. Although meals weren't included, they made a reservation for me at a nearby cafe that was open even on New Year's Day, and I was able to enjoy an Italian course meal. The accommodation, a renovated old house, offered a spacious and luxurious use of one floor, making it very comfortable. I would love to come back again when I have more time to slowly soak up the atmosphere of the whole town."
