Richmond Hotel Fukushima Ekimae ★★★
"This hotel branch is a great place overall, with clean rooms and lots of nice amenities. Plus, there’s a parking lot right next to it! However, the parking lot is in a separate building, so you’ll need to carry your luggage to and from the hotel, which can be a bit of a drag. But the location is super convenient, just a short walk to the Fukushima JR station, where you can find amazing local food and do some shopping."
Sansuiso Tsuchiyu Spa ★★★★
"The inn's food and rooms were both excellent. Both dinner and breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, and the presentation and flavors were carefully thought out. I was impressed by the seasonal flavors of the food. The room we were given was also fully renovated and very clean, with a clean feel more like a luxury hotel than a hot spring inn. If there hadn't been any problems, I think I would have been able to relax very much. Once the open-air bath in our room became temperature adjustable, the water quality and atmosphere were both excellent, and we were able to lose track of time. There were also three large public baths, each with its own unique atmosphere. Bathing while looking out at the waterfall and well-maintained gardens was truly luxurious, and each one has a charm that makes you want to visit in every season. The only thing that was very disappointing was that on the first day of our stay, we had repeated problems with the plumbing in our room. The water would come and go, and we couldn't adjust the temperature of the open-air bath, so it was too hot to bathe in. The water from the sink and shower would sometimes flow so violently that it frightened our children, and sometimes not at all. It was very unstable. Furthermore, the toilet backed up in the middle of the night, wetting the floor and walls, which made our stay extremely unsettling. The front desk staff tried to adjust the pipes with tools, even though it was late at night, and we appreciated their attitude. However, the problem was not fully resolved, and they simply said, "Please keep an eye on it," without offering to move us to another room or anything like that, so we ended up spending the night feeling anxious. The fact that there was no explanation until we checked the next day and felt like they were not being sincere in following up also bothered me. Honestly, I've never experienced such trouble and response in a room in this price range, so I was very surprised. Another thing that made me very uneasy was when a male guest peeked at my mother in the public bath. When we told the front desk, they explained that "there are an increasing number of foreign tourists, so it's possible that he came in by mistake," but as far as my mother could see, it was a Japanese man, and I felt suspicious of their response. If they could take safety measures (such as patrols and increased guidance), I think the inn would be a safer place to stay. Overall, the quality of the facilities and food was extremely high, and it was such a wonderful inn that I would have given it the highest rating. That's why I hope that they will improve their response to problems and their sincere follow-up on safety in the future."
Jr-East Hotel Mets Fukushima ★★★★
"Excellent access from the station, and I had a very comfortable stay."
APA Hotel Fukushima-Ekimae ★★★
"Price point is reasonable. Satisfied with my stay. Would book again."
Hotel Sankyo Fukushima ★★★
"Good value for money. I'd consider staying here again if I have the chance."
Takayu Onsen Kagetsu Highland Hotel ★★★
"Although a cold wave was coming, there wasn't much snow on the way there. A big snowstorm started in the evening. The next morning, the snow was well up to my knees, but the staff cleared it and my car was able to move. Thank you. This time I reserved a private bath, which was the best. It's almost a private open-air bath. You should use it. The food here is delicious for both dinner and breakfast. I also went shopping at the shop about three times. There are plenty of souvenirs, and I got coffee milk after the bath. The smoking room in the main building is great."
The Celecton Fukushima ★★★★
"Place was perfect. It just across street from JR Station and easy to check in. Room a bit old and they still use key room. But everything was okay. Miso soup and coffee was available near front desk was great.. but no water/ice. So we need to take water from our room (tap water)."
Smart Hotel Fukushima Station Front ★★★
"It was very close to the station and it was very convenient for me who arrived at Fukushima Station at night. There were many rice shops nearby, so I didn't have any trouble going to drink rice. The hotel room is enough for one person and there are almost no amenities, so shampoo and body soap are required, but I don't think it's a problem for a good person at the minimum! There is also a donki nearby, so if you have trouble, you can go buy it."
Comfort Inn Fukushima Nishi Inter ★★★
"Great hotel and good location.. staff where very helpful"

Horieya Ryokan
"The atmosphere of an old hot spring inn has been preserved. Many "Onsen Musume" related goods are on display inside the building. Of course there is a hot spring, but since Sabakoyu is next door, you might want to use that instead. Meals are served in the room, and the portions are plentiful, the food is well prepared, and it was very delicious. The stew made by the head female owner was particularly delicious. The owners, a married couple, were also very kind to us. However, there are no locks on the rooms, so it may not be suitable for people who value privacy."
Tsutaya Ryokan
"It was very clean and I really liked it. The bathwater was hot, and it was nice to enjoy a good hot spring bath after a long time."
Hotel Crownhills Fukushima
"It's an old building, but it was very clean. The bathroom was also clean. It's very close to my destination, so I'd like to use it every time. I didn't have breakfast this time, but it was delicious last time, so I'll definitely have it next time..."
Toyoko Inn Fukushima-eki Nishi-guchi
"Nice hotel beside the station. However the buzz is in the other side of the station."
La Union
"Lady in the receptionist so lovely. She tried very hard to explain about rules and so on. Location is good, a lot of restaurant near hostel."
Itoen Hotel Iizaka Kanoya
"The overall impression of the facility is that it is old and worn out. I visited by private car, but the parking lot was small and difficult to park. The quality of the hot springs is good and satisfying, but there is no open-air bath. The meals are buffet-style, and all the dishes are half-baked, and you can drink as much alcohol as you want, so if you can just use it as a snack to go with the drinks, you won't have any complaints. I'm thankful that the check-out time is 11:00 a.m., so I can take time to take a bath in the morning. It can be said that the price is very reasonable and the cost performance is good. The washroom in the guest room is very small and not easy to use."
Iseya
"I got the impression that they were working very hard. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to soak in a hot spring, enjoy the nearby restaurants, and then relax in their room."
Izumiya
"It is a little far from Iizaka Onsen Station. The indoor bath was lukewarm, but the outdoor rock bath was too lukewarm to bathe in (in the morning), even though the temperature outside was cold. Dinner and breakfast were also not that great."
Iizaka Onsen Surikamitei Ohtori
"I tried the Sake Raku plan. It was all-you-can-drink sake, and there were plenty of snacks to go with it. You can bring a 1.8L bottle from the fridge, but if you tell the staff "Junmai Ginjo Sake" or "Namazake" or the brand, they will bring you three cups of 60ml each. I did that for a few rounds. We ended with some soba noodles. No matter how drunk you get, you just go back to your room, so unlike all-you-can-drink at a bar, there's no need to worry. You can enjoy Fukushima Prefecture sake."
Yoshikawaya
"A very historical hot spring hotel with good service and clean environment. The breakfast was very good, fried apples are a must-try. The room was warm and comfortable to sleep on. After soaking in the hot spring, your skin becomes brighter. You can take a look."
Matsuriya Yuzaemon
"There was a partition between the dining area and the next room. I was satisfied with both the content and the amount of food. The room is probably standard for a hot spring inn. It was cleaned well. As for the bath, the water was quite lukewarm, which was disappointing. The water in the open-air bath was even lukewarmer. Also, there was a person with tattoos all over his back, which was a big minus. I didn't check if people with tattoos are allowed in the bath, but it felt bad."
Otomeyuri
"The plan was like staying overnight at a day trip hot spring facility. Although the hot spring usage hours were limited at night, I was able to enjoy the hot spring even after checking out. I still want to use it. The inside of the facility was very clean."
Hanataki
"I think it's good if you like traditional inns. I love that the bath is available 24 hours a day. Please note that there are few restaurants around."
Hotel Fukushima Hills
"No-frills, simple set up for short term stays. Clean and comfortable for my one night stay. Staff were courteous and helpful."
