Our family stayed at the Fuji Mercure Hotel + for two nights! We mainly chose this hotel because we wanted to see the full view of Mount Fuji. The weather was bad when we arrived on the first day, and I was disappointed that there was no trace of Mount Fuji at all. Fortunately, there is a large department store Diaso opposite the accommodation, which is within walking distance. There are many restaurants nearby. The landlord is very nice and prepared drinks for us. We bought food from a nearby supermarket and cooked it in the accommodation. It is fully equipped and has a washing machine and dryer.
The accommodation building is three stories high, with a living room, dining room, kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor. On the second floor are two Western-style rooms and a tatami room, a bathroom and a toilet. The rooftop on the third floor has tables, chairs and a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Fortunately we saw Mount Fuji clearly the next morning.
Since there was an urgent report on the day of check-out and we needed to delay our departure, we asked the hotel to delay our check-out. The hotel was very nice and only paid an extra 1,000 yen for us to delay our check-out for one hour, which made it easier for me to complete my work. There are three parking spaces in front of the house. Even if the parking lot is full, it is not far away if you need to park in the nearby parking lot. It is only a five-minute walk away. If I visit this area again, I will consider this accommodation.
