"Lovely. Parking cost 10CHF per day. If not further along the main road could have free parking. Grateful for the good price stated for this hostel. Own lake access! Better than any resorts. Relaxed, quiet, lake view, sunset view, mountain views. There was a wash basin in the four person room, which was really good and convenient. Cupboard for clothes. Two switches (not by bed) for charging purposes."

"Very good location. Arrival/check-in was cumbersome. Staff costs are passed on to the guest, who is apparently a hotel employee. Unnecessary collection of the second guest's personal data – why? The car lift takes a very long time, resulting in queues on the day of departure. Breakfast was abysmal: too few (very helpful and friendly) staff, the buffet chronically empty, and the "scrambled egg machine" was an exceptionally stupid idea (inefficient, complicated, and unhygienic. Guests are expected to help out here too, cleaning the machine after use with a wet cloth provided next to it...). A thermos of coffee is included with breakfast, but all other coffees must be purchased at the bar. The hotel isn't so cheap that one would want to put up with that. The room was clean and functional, which was acceptable."

"The room wasn't large, but it had a balcony with a view of the distant scenery. Being in the mountains, it was very quiet. We drove there from Interlaken and took the shuttle train for the first time. Because we weren't familiar with the area, we chose a supposedly "shorter" route, which resulted in a very thrilling drive on a mountain road. Fortunately, there was little traffic, and the locals were very courteous (perhaps because they saw we were driving foreign cars). The hotel's 24/7 sauna was really nice, bigger than a professional spa, and it even had a small swimming pool. There are several nice hot springs near the hotel. For sightseeing, I recommend the nearby Gemmay Pass; take the cable car up, it's incredibly beautiful on a clear day. There was practically only one staff member each day, and they were extremely busy. Parking is available in a nearby public garage for 14 Swiss francs per day, and you can park for about 15 minutes before checking in. Actually, taking the train is very convenient; the train goes directly to Leuke, and then you can take a free shuttle bus to the town with the guest card provided by the hotel, from where it's just a few minutes' walk to the hotel."

We eat trout there… grilled trout cevice… everything is good! I will return without hesitation... in another season..."

"The location is a bit out of the way, a few minutes' drive from the town's cable car center and supermarket, but the environment is comfortable. The room is large, with a balcony, and very comfortable. There is no washing machine. The staff are very welcoming. Parking is right outside, very convenient. Breakfast is at a farmhouse-style level—simple, but enough."

"The hotel is right in the centre of the village at the bus stop called Dorf. A very comfortable room with a special design. Excellent bathroom, the bed is comfortable but if I had one comment is the position of the TV, not very easy to watch from the bed. The breakfast is nice and the restaurant serves excellent soups, salads and the traditional fondue"
