We stay here once year in December as we meet friends for our yearly goose eating event. The stay's are always pleasant and staff is friendly and helpful. Getting into town is also easy. A small walk to the tram station and from there straight into the city. Breakfast has always been a charm and plenty of food available. Rooms are clean and have never looked bad. We will continue to stay here especially it is ideal after the big dinner ;-)

Consistently Top
Hotel and restaurant stand out for quality and value. For a long weekend getaway with great food, great wines, cultural historic town close by, the Hirschen in Lehen is a favourite not only for us.
The rooms are not luxurious, but they are very comfortable, quiet, very clean and great value for money.
I don't need to write more, I suggest you try it for yourself.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, das einzige, was ein wenig gestört hat waren die hohen Preise im Restaurant, aber, dass Essen war klasse.

Keineswegs familienfreundlich! Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern im Hotel Hirschen. Das kleinere Kind war 10 Monate alt und machte seine ersten Versuche mit selbständigem Essen. Dabei ist das Ein oder Andere auf den Boden gefallen. Als wir so beim Frühstück waren, kommt die Chefin / Chefin des Services in den Frühstücksraum und schreit lauthals raus, was das denn für eine Schweinerei bei uns sei, und sie müsse ja «die Hühner reinlassen», wenn wir fertig seien. Auch fand sie es unangemessen, dass wir unserem Kind keinen Teller gaben (was wir nicht taten, weil es nur zerbrechliches Geschirr gab). Daraufhin verliess sie den Raum und kam mit einer Aluschale zurück und verlangte, dass unser Baby daraus essen solle! Die Dame hat uns vor allen Gästen blossgestellt und schikaniert. Hinzu kommt, dass auch unser Zimmer nicht gereinigt wurde und wir darum bitten mussten, dass doch wenigstens der volle Windeleimer gelehrt wird. Solch ein Verhalten und Service ist eines 4-Sterne Hotels unwürdig und wir würden sicher nicht zurückkommen.
