What a magnificent spot. Located perfectly on the ocean with spectacular beaches and views far away from the rest of the world. It is a perfect place if you only want to rest and relax. We stayed in a two bedroom two story villa that was beautifully appointed. Full kitchen and furnishings. Think of it as you would a vrbo or Airbnb, you do get coffee, but all other food you want to prepare must be bought at a grocery store before you leave Rock Sound. There is an excellent restaurant but it’s serves lunch and dinner. No breakfast. Not a problem if you are prepared. The staff and facilities are fabulous. The staff and management bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. One in particular, Dolly, is everywhere. If you need something, she’ll move heaven and earth to make it happen with an infectious smile. Outstanding! Rent a 4 wheel drive mule and enjoy secluded beaches and explore. We did and had a blast.

We go to Eleuthera regularly but usually stay in the Governors Harbour area. This time we wanted to dive, and the Dive Shop at Cape Eleuthera has good reviews, so we decided to stay here. We booked a one bedroom ocean front cottage, which is very newly built. The landscaping around it wasn’t even complete. The accommodations are very nice, tastefully decorated, and our bed was comfortable. The one bedroom cottages have no kitchen, however, they provide a mini fridge and a coffee maker. We discovered that the restaurant does not open for breakfast, and there is nothing offering breakfast within 30 min drive. The staff at the resort offered to have someone bring breakfast to us the first morning. This was a special arrangement that they don’t usually do. We were grateful for this but didn’t want to be an inconvenience. We drove 30 mins to find a grocery store. We bought bagels and cream cheese, then requested a toaster for the remainder of our stay. The staff happily obliged. The one resteraunt on the property serves decent food, although since it is the ONLY eating establishment in the area, if you are there for more than a few days, the menu is limiting. On Fridays, it closes at 5pm, and the only available food is pizza from a trailer on site. Sunday ‘brunch’ is served from 12 noon, and that is the only menu for that day/evening. I would recommend booking a 2 bedroom accommodation which would include a kitchen, then purchase groceries on your way to the resort if you would like breakfast, and some other options for lunch/dinner. We were the only people in the restaurant for two evenings. The staff confirmed that there were only a handful of units occupied. We love Eleuthera, and will return soon, but we will not stay here. The highlight of our time at Cape Eleuthera was the scuba diving. We had two wonderful afternoons with Chad and Anderson. Without the Dive Shop, we would not have stayed. Next time, we will stay at French Leave in Governors Harbour, and drive to The Dive Shop. French Leave has similar pricing for accomodation, but all the amenities you would expect, with many extras to make your stay more memorable. Cape Eleuthera has so much potential. The staff are awesome, and they also wish that there were more amenities available for guests. Very frustrating and disappointing stay.

If I could give a 5+ review I would. Cape Eleuthera is amazing! We were on our boat at the marina for 5 days. The staff, the grounds, pool, restaurant, beaches, bikes, 4 mile loop walking are all exceptional! And the restaurant -the conch fritters are out of this world. Excellent in all categories!

Absolutely beautiful resort! Staff is amazing and so friendly. The Best burger in the Bahamas and probably better than 95 percent of the burgers in the states. Came by boat. Marina is top notch. Go see Zara at the bar she is awesome. A must stop in the Eleutheras.

My family and I spent a few days at the resort, and was completely blown away by our experience. Looking at the pictures posted on Google, We honestly didn't know what to expect during our stay. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we got there and saw the place for ourselves. The stunning views, gourmet meals, and unmatched hospitality from both the staff and managers, exceeded our expectations. It truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this best kept secret in paradise.

Always a treat to stay here. The staff is always accommodating and very professional. The restaurant is far and away better than you would ever expect at such a remote location. Chef Davis heads up a team of talented and creative chefs that will surely impress the most experienced diners. The views from the restaurant terrace complete a fabulous dining experience. Worth a trip to the cape if you ever get the chance.

We stayed a few nights in the marina. We were treated to wonderful views and the absolute friendliest staff! The margs were great and the Kalimantan cold. Go say hello to Zara and Dolly. Just be careful of the bull sharks in the water! 10/10 would return.

The dinner was amazing (catch of the day is so fresh and conch fritters are best on the island!) and Linda is a ray of sunshine. & you MUST get a famous Eddie Wap from the legendary bartender Eddie. It was our friend’s birthday and the chef even prepared a special lava cake & ice cream dessert just for her!

We spent two nights at a dock in the marina, and found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the facilities to be in good condition, with some seeming newly built. The location was perfect for our transit from Cat Island to Eleuthera. Easy laundry with new machines for $4 a load. Access to beaches to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday brunch at Harbour Pointe restaurant, with excellent service by Zara. The shrimp ‘n grits were among the best I’ve ever had! The Jack Daniels ribs were also good, and we enjoyed the guava brioche French toast for dessert. The only negative is the intense no-see-um population in mornings and evenings.
