Just got back had a wonderful time although it started off rocky the problems we had with the rooms were quickly fixed. It is a 3.5 however the beach pool entertainment and staff were on point. The rooms definitely need an upgrade but were clean and comfortable. There is plenty to do for free at the resort we had 2 16yr Olds and they had the BEST time of their lives! There is a fish fry off site every Wednesday which was absolutely delicious and a must do. There are 2 sites a tourist and a local section which you can go to both. We stayed at the tourist part but wish we had of gone to the local section more food vendors and authentic island music The Mexican restaurant is a must! My bf and I tried scuba diving for the first time. What a fantastic experience! But that wouldn't have made possible without out outstanding instructor PIERRE he was absolutely hands down amazing. I had a full in panic attack in the pool during our instructional practice and wanted to quit. His calm and patient personality was amazing and he got me through it when we went to the ocean he guided me and stayed with me until I felt comfortable on my own I can describe the experience but I couldn't have done it without Pierre.

As they say, the staff makes the place. All of the possible stars belong to Lifeguard Franklyn, Carlos from activities, Sonya, Ralf, Lavor and Camal from the bar team and Crystal from the front desk. The place needs some serious work and the food is absolutely horrendous.

My honest review. Average stay at this resort. Like usual some good and some bad. Here is my experience. Good: 1. AC was excellent in the room. Room was clean and had a working safe and fridge. 2. Food at buffet was ok, they tried to mix up the food. 3. Beach was very good. Tip: walk to the left on the beach and it will lead you to a gorgerous lagoon. 1-4 feet deep. We saw a stingray, reef shark, crab, and fish. Very nice. BAD: 1. Front desk lies to gusts and very rude. They raise their voices at guests. We asked for extended check out previous day, girl in yellow shirt said ok to 3pm. We got pounded on the door and called by the front desk and they gave us so much attitude. Explained to them what we were told, they didnt care and gave us attitude and ordered us like animals to leave the room immediately. Terrible experience. 2. The staff everywhere walk and act like zombies. No energy, not welcoming, and so so so slow. Buffet staff dont hussle and you will eat your dessert with dirty plates on your table. They dont care. 3. Entertainment is non exsistent. They dont know how to get people involved like in Mexico or Cuba. A lady asked a dancer to dance, he refused her. Embarrassing. 4. Pool is very dirty, no swim up bar. 5. Not much desserts, just a couple cakes that ***** guests carve into as they are not pre cut. Not hard to add cookies, brownies, muffins. No ice cream ever. Just take out the chiller. If you want ice cream on the all inclusive resort, guess what not free. You have to pay for it. $5.00 each. Guess not all inclusive as avertised. Liars. 5. Bathroom smallest ever. Hot water issues all trip. Goes from cold, to warm, to hot, to scolding hot on rotation. Someone is going to be badly burned one day. Called the front desk and they say they will send someone, but they dont show up. Once again Liars. Overall: Not that great of a resort. Food ok, beach nice, pool sucks, front desk are liars, bartenders slow, servers like zombies. Nobody tries to make it a nice experience for the guests. Management needs training or get fired. You have a job because people like me buy these vacation packages. How about be grateful. But hey the package was cheap at $1150 for the week. Pay cheap, you get cheap and bad service. My advice, go to Mexico you will be better treated, have more fun and be well fed. This place is dated, poorly run, and they just dont care about any guest experience. Should be investigated.
