Quick and efficient check-in. Great location for both Franz Josef glacier, and glow work tunnels. Host very informative. Very close to a good restaurant (Alice May).
Cottage was clean, tidy, and warm.

The hotel owners are really warm and helpful. The room is immaculate and clean. It is located near to the major attrations, shops and buses. Thanks for the great hospitality, we really enjoyed our stay and the walk/view from the glacier. - Family of 3 from Singapore who stayed on 16 Dec 24 :)

This was definitely our favourite accomodation on our South Island trip. A cute well equipped cabin with a view of trees out of our window and gorgeous vegetation next to the front porch. Immaculately clean. A short distance to the township or a rainforest walk depending on your choice of direction.

Best possible location for its price, walks nearby, easy walkable distance from Franz Josef glacier area, and literally minutes away from shops, and restaurants. Cozy rooms, affordable, regularly serviced. Great staff, they take good care of the place. Decent sized carpark, generous supply of tea/coffee sachets. Clean, fresh smelling rooms, besides you can get a nice view of the glacier if you step out of the carpark area or the front. Has laundry and barbecue but we did not use them.
