A place to return to, close to the center and the bakery right next to the apartment complex where you can get fresh coffee and rolls early in the morning or have a delicious, extensive breakfast. I would recommend the neighborgood apartments to everyone.I can't wait to come back here.

Pros: Great location, walking distance to wine tram and town, nice bakery next door. Good value for price. Cons: No one ever sent me the code for the lockbox. There was someone at the desk who opened the door and gave me a key to my room, but not a key to the front entrance of the building. I had to call the number on the sign out front for someone to give me the lockbox code which contained the front door key which I wasn’t given. The room was cleaned, but I looked under the bed and saw lots of dust and stuff left behind by previous guests. Also, the shower made a loud noises when I turned it on at night and I had to jiggle the faucet handles around to make it stop.

Great news place to rest your head
The Neighborhood is a great place to stay in Franchooek. I’ve stayed here twice-once with my brother and once with my husband and son. The accommodations are stylish and in great condition, and the location near the wine tram can’t be beat. You can walk there and to several stores and restaurants. It’s easy to get in, and we stored our bags after checkout both times without any issues.

Great welcome and hospitality, comfortable setup right in the center of Franschhoek.
Even accommodated a slightly later check-out.
Very comfortable and well-equipped, just the bathroom could be slightly better designed but overall will definitely return and recommend!

Highly recommended.
Our expectations were exceeded and the location was perfect. Would definitely recommend and will look for your establishments in other venues. The staff were delightful and parking easy. Excellent coffee shop/bakery next door.

Great value
We booked last minute and as the price was lower than other options was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Very spacious loft apartment with a great bed and lovely bathroom. As we were there only 1 night didn't use the well appointed kitchen. Sofa was comfortable and it was close to the center of town. Great bakery next door as well as the supermarket across the street. I would definitely stay there again.
