This hotel was easy to get to from the highway and was very close to many restaurants and shops. I felt very safe in the area. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable and allowed a good nights sleep.

While it's true that La Quinta does have signs up about this being a smoke free hotel, it is clear that wasn't always the case. The 2nd floor's air smells funky & our 2nd floor room smelled heavily of smoke. I got an immediate headache & felt sick. Luckily, the front desk midnight auditor changed our room for us when I went back to the desk & complained about the smell. If you have an aversion to smoke, don't let them put you on the 2nd floor (I'm not sure about the 3rd floor cause we never went there)

Dining area was very clean.They had a nice breakfast with biscuits and gravy eggs, sausage, waffles, bagel's, muffins fruit, cereal etc. The biscuits and gravy were better than most even from a restaurant. Our room was nice, clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The sitting chair in our room could use some cleaning though. Didn't go in the pool, but it was nice and clean.I would definitely stay here again.

When first walking into the front doors there was an Odor that we couldn’t distinguish. The smell was overwhelmingly throughout the whole hotel and in the room. On checkout day the elevator stopped working which led us to have to carry our bags down the stairs. At the end of breakfast I noticed the woman who works there taking the biscuits that weren’t eaten out of the bin and putting them back into the storage bags to be put out again tomorrow.

It was a great idea to book this hotel. I’m pleased with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We will be back in the future. If we are driving through this part of the state.
