Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbus East

We stay in this hotel for our yearly trip to Columbus for a car show. I can say that no matter how many times we stay here, we have never been dissapointed. The rooms are clean, the staff is always friendly, and the breakfast is always good. The breakfast staff are very attentive and always make sure food is stocked, hot and ready. The area has plenty of nearby restaurants and is across the street from a shopping area. I recommend this hotel to family and friends and many have stayed here and were not dissapointed.

Very affordable & just off the interstate. The location is pretty good, plenty of places to eat nearby. The front desk staff were lovely. The room & common areas were clean and well maintained. There is a pretty good free breakfast offered. Our room was nice, but oddly only one side of the bed had any plugs. The side that did have plugs had a lot of them, but the other side had zero within reach. A bit strange but not a deal breaker. The shower had good water pressure & toiletries. The towels were generous sized & soft. The noise was a bit of an issue. We could clearly hear any talking or movement in the hall or in the room next to us. It was so bad that it sounded like they were in the room with us. I don’t think they were being loud, I think the rooms just do not muffle sound at all. There was also a fair amount of highway noise. Overall I would consider staying here again if looking for a good value. The price is great & the staff are nice. I think I will try another hotel in the area for my next trip. I’d rather pay a little more to have a quieter room.

The staff were all amazing! Excellent customer service from the Front Desk Agents to the Assistant GM. The room had ants everywhere and the AC wasn't working in the room. I was told multiple times that a manager would contact me. It didn't happen. I was also told that I could move rooms. Went to move and was told I was told that in error. Frustrating experience.

I liked the room, however, it was loud due to being by the elevator. The room was quite dirty, old food and confetti under and around the pull out sofa. The breakfast area had an ant problem, which was a turn off. The staff was very friendly and helpful which greatly helped. After I scrubbed and disinfected the room, i was satisfied with this quick weekend trip

The staff was amazing. The breakfast was good. It was your standard Belgium waffle makers, scramble Eggs, & sausage daily. The 2 issues I dealt with was the outdoor smell. It appear there was some type of orange leak. This left a stain and a bad smell. The second problem was earwing bugs in my room. When I complained I was switch to the room next store. Even though we saw less they were still very present. I let the staff know. They offered to change my room again. I choose to tolerate it at this point. I didn’t want to repack again and risk finding them again.
