Extremely clean, comfortable and friendly! I would definitely stay here again. My room was clean and looks to be recently updated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was minimal. They did have waffles, cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt. No fruit or meats. One surprise was no elevator, but if you want a bottom floor, it’s ok. It wasn’t fun carrying luggage up a flight of stairs. However I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and available 24/7 with any help you might need. This is a good location to a lot of fast food restaurants and not too far from downtown.

Unfortunately, we had to book this motel at the last minute and there was nothing else available. First of all, there was only one handicapped parking spot. Secondly, there was no elevator. Thirdly, this room is not portrayed at all in the photos. The toilet is so close to the sink that you can not use it properly. Lastly, it is the smallest room possible and was $200. Shameful and do not stay here.

From the moment I contacted the hotel it was a positive feeling. As a thru hiker with a few guys we had one of the most blessed days and full of greetings from the staff. Miss Annette F was an absolute amazing human and one of the best hotel receptionist I've ever met. Her personality and positive vibes were amazing! She deserves so much praise! Thank you Annette a thousand times over, she is a must visit in Franklin!!!!

Extremely clean, comfortable and friendly front desk staff. Our room was clean , the beds are very comfortable. The tv wasn’t working at first but Annette. F. on day shift came and fixed it within 10min and worked just fine. She also gave us good recommendations on food and falls to visit. Virgina was also very nice when we checked in. The place smelled so clean when we walked in we thought they had a pool….Breakfast was decent, waffles was plus and sausage biscuits also. No elevator but that was okay. I look forward to coming back next year

I really couldn't choose between average and poor, so I chose average because the check-in clerk was ultra helpful. Besides that this place needs a top to bottom makeover. The carpets are filthy from the entry through the rooms. The bathrooms are so small that when you sit on the stool you are poked, quite hard, by the counter. It has no ventilation, which can make a big difference. There is no elevator. In the room we stayed in the trim is coming off the "work area". The ice machine is broken and the staff acted like it's not their problem. The breakfast nook's furniture is worn down to bare wood. In today's world you need electrical outlets, once again lacking. The room drinking "glasses" are unwrapped styrofoam cups. On the plus side, the Wi-Fi works, very little road noise, the HVAC is fairly quiet and the beds are ok. Since this the third best hotel in Franklin I shudder to think how bad the next ones are.

I stay at the Microtel in Franklin regularly, and it’s consistently a fantastic experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and just right for a relaxing stay. But what really makes this place stand out is the staff—everyone here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through or staying in the area. The people here make it feel like a second home!
