It's average, clean, but the bathroom is simple, and there are many bugs when the lights are turned on at night. The car is parked at the door, and the view of Mount Cook is outside the window. The town is not big, so there are not many choices.

It was my first time staying in a motel. It was beyond my expectations. The kids were very satisfied. The itinerary was a bit rushed. It was very close to the helicopter ride point.

It is close to Fox Glacier, so it is convenient to participate in ice hiking activities. The overall facilities are average, but because it is close to the mountains, there are a lot of insects, and my daughter is a little scared. It would be better if the cleaning could be improved.

Not far from Lake Mason, there is also a firefly trail nearby, which is very healing to watch at night. There is a big black dog, very friendly.

We booked this hotel by mistake but it turned out to be a nice place to stay. The owner was very understanding and let us check in late and in the next morning was very helpful with all information we needed. Big and very cleaned room.
