Encantada Resort Vacation Townhomes by Idiliq

We stayed at Encantada for the first time 8/25. Check-in was great. We went for a walk at night and security was driving around in a golf cart and checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The guard house is great The level of service we received was wonderful we will be back

I would like to give this place a good review, as have stayed here twice before, however, my visit on 17th-19th April 2025 will be my last. We drove from Miami and checked in late (about 10pm). Upon checking in, security asked us for the gate code. I explained this was not sent to us by email, so rather than checking our details, she asked us to move as we were holding up others guests trying to get through the gate and come back when we know the code. I already explained this was not sent, so we could not get in. I phoned the resort and explained and they told us that we need to go back to security. I already found this daunting due to our prior experience. We tried again at security to get through. Again, told if we don’t have the number there is nothing she can do. She came across as rude and was rather short with us. I didn’t need this after a 5 hour drive from Miami. I explained that we don’t have the code and have paid upfront, plus have evidence that we have a booking. It was only then she checked the computer system and my passport and we were finally given a key. When we got to the home I booked, we walked in, and I was horrified! It was disgusting!! Clearly it had not been cleaned. I had to pay over £100 upfront (this is a mandatory charge as part of the booking) and clearly it was not done. Soap scum in the shower, rusted enamel coming off the sink, stained ice dispenser, ring marks, cockroach… I will let the pictures speak for themselves. The cleaners clearly had not done their job. To top it off this was NOT what I booked. I was given a 3 bedroom deluxe BUT booked a 4 bedroom town house. There was nothing “deluxe” about it! The furniture was old, tired and needed replacing. Nothing like they show in the pictures online. From previous stays, I had booked a 2 bedroom home twice and was pleased, but this time the home we were given was awful. There was nothing I could do as reception was closed so had no choice but to dispute this the next morning. Next morning, I went to reception. I showed the pictures to reception and they were shocked. They apologised and made a call to IDILIQ who manage the resort. I was offered a $50 gift card (not that I wanted this, as I wanted a refund) and the difference between the 4 bedroom and 3 bedroom home (about £20). They would not refund the cleaning fee, but after some discussion, agreed to refund the resort fee - to this day has still not been refunded. I received about £20 back into my account, but was expecting around £80 as was agreed over the phone. To top it off, they had none of the 4 bedroom homes left, so were told we had to remain in the house they put us in. Basically we were booked into the wrong home and with practically no refund. This was their negligence! It was such a shame as we booked this place as part of my mum’s 80th birthday trip to America, and it put a damper on the experience. Horrible experience. The rooms are not furnished by the Resort. The furniture in my room was at least 50 years old, worn dirty spots on the couch. Chunks of the furniture missing and the tiles in the bathroom were cracked. The pool was filthy. I asked for my money back for false advertisement and they refused to give me back my deposit. I tried to speak to the manager. They refused and told me they would call me back and never did. This went on for about 3 weeks. I called every week and given another lie that they would call me when the manager came in. They also have an assistant manager who goes by Ana one day and Paula the next day. I guess this was just another attempt to keep them from being honest and returning my money. Please save your time and money and find another resort. I saw other negative reviews and chalked it up to a person being a little extra. But its true. Some of these rooms may be nice and it seems like a lot of them are not nice. I would not even take the gamble.

I stayed at the Encantada Resort in Kissimmee FL. The hotel is good (as I have stayed here before) and the maintenance was superbly clean. Please may I do a special mention to Lisbeth who cleaned my townhouse. She did not leave a spec of dust and she done an amazing job. She deserves a promotion, service with a smile but the work she done to clean our place has to be recognised! Also, she cleaned the apartment in good time. I would like her managers to recognise the good work she is doing! Promote her! Thank you to all the staff, but special mention has to go to her. Servicio diez de diez!

Was a terrible experience the king size bed and the mattress were uncomfortable everytime you move the bed started making noices also the hot tub was having issues to regulate the temperature, I will never recommend this place, everytime we sitting down in the couch we were sinking, they should change few things before continuing renting the townhouses.

The Townhouse was awesome, family really loved it. There was no mop in the house and not much eentertainment for the kids.kids
