Affordable place to stay

You get what you pay for. This is the best title of my visit. It was the cheapest hotel in the area. I was planning just to spent the night and drive back home to Chicago. Unfortunately it was the hottest day during the spring of 2025. The AC in my room was working "as usually in the cheap hotels". It was very noisy but with small effect. Approximately in the middle of the night the temperature finally went slightly down, so I could sleep. There is a swimming pool on outside, but....it was still not ready for the season(mid of June). The breakfast was on the minimum "mode": bagels, toasts, waffles, cream cheese OJ and some cereals. That's all! The coffee, shouldn't be called coffee. It was a dark water with taste of water from the toilet. Next time, definitely I am going to spend a little more money for my stay and for sure not in this place. RomanP

Unexpected surprises. The front desk person when we got to the hotel was rude. He had said there was a $100 dollar fee up front, to which we did not know about until we got there. When I asked him what it was for, he was rude about giving me an answer. "Said that the reason there is that charge is because people have left the rooms in such a mess that the hotel needs to charge that amount for safe deposit." When we left the person at the desk was much nicer. But did not ask us how our stay was. There was no elevator only stairs. The breakfast was very minimal cereal, some muffins, toast and a waffle maker.

Below average Our stay was adequate for the price. Pool was still closed and building felt dirty. Front desk attendant was missing when we arrived. We had to wait about 20 minutes for him to show up. We will not choose to stay here again. Even children noticed it was below average.

It worked for a quick overnight stay, but some better upkeep and cleaning is needed.

Not the best Our one night stay was jus ok. As just needed a place to slept, not in vehicles, it was affordable and worth doing for only 1-2 nights but I would not stay at that Days Inn for more than very short timeframe. The lobby is nice sized but very unkept and hard to tell if they’re in middle of renovations or it’s just ugly with old furniture and no pics or decoration. Looks like no money at all is being put into this establishment. It has a really bad smell, esp. in corridors and the upkeep is terrible. Ice machines and floors look filthy. I waited to shower once home because bathroom needs remodeling desperately! It did not feel like the safest place to be, but there was diversity. People were loud and up all throughout the night. We did not take on the basic complimentary breakfast they had available. Next time in Cincy and KY, we surely will look for something closer to downtown Cincinnati and alil more upscale in services and appearance.
