Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Worth Downtown/Convention Center

I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Worth Downtown/Convention Center, and it was a really good experience. The location is excellent, right by the Convention Center and very convenient for getting around downtown Fort Worth and Sundance Square. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth. My room was a good size, and because the hotel is fairly new, everything felt very clean and fresh, which was a huge plus. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept well. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast; it had a nice variety of options, and the waffles were particularly tasty. Overall, the hotel offers good value with amenities like free Wi-Fi and a fitness center. I can see why it gets positive reviews, and I'd certainly recommend it if you're looking for a place to stay in Fort Worth.

Comfortable stay. Breakfast was minimal in choice but very near to Fort Worth Convention Centre which was a big bonus. USD770 for 6 nights' stay with free breakfast was a steal for the 3rd week of September 2023.

No parking on site, water pressure is not the strongest, hot water is not great either, staff is not that friendly, the elevators has a dirty odor I can’t even describe; felt safe though and pretty secure area. Downtown is one of the cleanest city I’ve been to. Nightlife around the town is a plus.

Unfortunately there is no option to rate "Zero" so I am rating this hotel at 1. We had the worst experience during our 3 night stay at this hotel. To start with the front desk was rude, unprofessional and incompetent. Majority of times there is no one at the front desk and guests were left waiting for someone to show up. The room was dingy, with stained and dirty floor carpets, the bathroom had broken tiles and the sink was faulty it only gave hot water no cold water, plus the sink was not draining and it kept flooding, the AC was inefficient we kept setting the temp lower in the summer heat but it kept going up, hence we could get sound sleep due to the sweaty and hot room. We complained twice to the front desk and even to the manager Erica but they did not care about it. No one came to even inspect the issues in our room. I was finally told by the rude front desk that they did not have any service inspector at site to check the issues. On the final day of check out, though the manager had promised to provide store room to keep our bags for early check out, the rude front desk informed us that the store room is full and it is only on 1st come basis. When I questioned him on why I was not informed about the 1st come policy of storing my bags when the manager had already promised to provide store room, he falsely accused me of being disrespectful and vulgar and told us to get out of the property. This pathetic experience coming from Marriot brand was shocking.
