Went to eat at DiamondHead Restaurant with some friends and had Jen as our server. As soon as we ordered our lemon drop martinis, what, what, what, what, because we don't know what rhymes with four, we knew she was the server for us. Even if our appetizers and entrees weren't great, which isn't true, the experience would have been just as great. Since the food was phenomenal that didn't matter. Jen and Doug both get 4 gold stars, an inside thing. Without them I don't know if it would have been as great, so I'm thankful we were able to share our experience with these two..thank you for everything, we will be back for because of them

We drove this morning from Naples Fl to have lunch in the beautiful upstairs restaurant. We attempted to park outside in the hotel parking lot and was chased down by a valet person saying we needed to pay $20.00 to self park. This was our 2nd visit to the hotel and did not pay the previous time we ate at the restaurant. This is a beautiful hotel and the service and restaurant staff/bartender and manager were awesome. This is why we returned today. (July 20,2025) We declined to pay the valet and left the property. We went to the Perry Hotel in Naples and had a fantastic lunch served to us by Brandon and Woodie right on the water. We were offered a complimentary boat ride to the hotels private beach on Barefoot Beach by the hotel concierge. Parking was free. We feel it's bad impression of a high end hotel to demand money before you even get into the restaurant/hotel. Hopefully the Diamond Head Beach Resort eliminates the parking fees for restaurant patrons in the future. Make no mistake the Diamond Head Beach Resort is fantastic! The food,service, staff and managers go above and beyond. Warren/Paula

Overall a mediocre experience at beat. The place was not dirty, but not new, nice or technically clean. They offer no housekeeping, the front desk staff smell of alcohol from their body, and the 2 elevators for the entire property (other 2 are staff only) are the slowest in the State.

Memorial Day Weekend 2025- decided to head down for a quick trip over the weekend. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. We arrived early and were able to get our room immediately. There are two restaurants in site. Cabañas pool bar, and Conte- bit more upscale. Cabañas is your typical pool beach bar, good attentive staff with your typical bar food. Burgers, chicken sandwiches, appetizers and your usual bar food Conté- is a bit upscale and you’ll pay a bit more. It is located in second floor and the views of the beach are amazing while you eat. We ate at both and were pleased with the meals. I would avoid the wings at Cabañas, not enough for the price. The room was a one bedroom with pull out couch with a patio that faced the beach. It was a good room. Beds were comfortable and the room was more than appropriate for our stay. The pool is a good size and has plenty of chairs and umbrellas. There is also a row of chairs and umbrellas that are located outside the pool area that face the beach. The beach is a short walk from hotel. You can rent lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach from a vendor not affiliated with hotel. They also rent jet skis and other water sport activities. I would definitely consider returning to this hotel.

Excellent facility nearly recovered from nasty hurricane a couple years ago. Only recommendations are: change up the pool streaming music tracks with more variety during the week. Same day after day, people were in agreement. Tanning beds were sufficient in number, however the number of umbrellas were insufficient. Day passes had a real effect here.

Stayed here a couple of times. Great location without feeling crowded. Able to walk to the beach and walk to plenty of fun things in Fort Myers Beach area. Staff was nice & drinks/food at the beach bar was good. Love having the large balcony and enjoyed the views. Plan to try their nice restaurant next time.

Recently for spring break my family and I stayed at this resort for 2 nights. I will say location was great on the beach. I booked with ******* based on the description that was provided. This was not a cheap resort to stay at for those tonights, but yet we chose to stay there based on what we read online. After entering the room, we learned that the floor was dirty full of sand and dirt. We could not take our shoes or socks off without getting our feet dirty. That’s when we started to learn that they don’t provide room service or cleaning unless you stay there for five nights. For our whole trip we had no room service. No one cleaned the floor or anything not only that but for such an expensive resort, they do not provide you with beach umbrellas or chairs. You have to pay a third-party $50 per day for those items. I do not recommend this place due to those reasons I could’ve paid less money to stay on a different resort and gotten all of those items included in my stay for less. Based on what what disclosed online I was lied to and I had a horrible experience.

The resort was right on the gulf. The pool area was really nice. Beach chairs were not included in the price of your stay and were available at a cost of $15 per day. The elevator was not in the best condition and had a delayed opening. The air conditioner did not keep temperature and had to be turned off and on to keep the room cool. The staff was
