Lani Kai is back!! :) The beach has the same sugar soft white sand, the beach chairs & umbrellas are always wonderful. They really have the friendliest staff I've ever come across - very helpful with any questions you have or bringing my mom a blanket because I like the room icy cold to sleep and she was chilly. Towels in the room could be better; they're awful small and a little scratchy - especially if you get a sunburn (which I do every time I'm there) The rooms need a full length mirror somewhere. And just a tiny suggestion for the LOVELY beach bar drink delivery girls - number those umbrellas so they know where to go!!! (they wouldn't even have to be in order, as long as they have a # the girls would know who ordered what!) I am looking forward to another trip in the future though when the sundeck is back open - that was always my favorite part; starting my morning eating some delicious breakfast, drinking my mimosa and watching the guys comb the beach with the tractors & set up the chairs.

Love this place! On the water and is fun fun fun! Grateful they were able to rebuild! It has been a few years since we have been there, a promising future for this business! We look forward to our next stay and hope the rest of the community can over come and rebuild!

I have stayed at Lani Kai many times over the past 40 years and have enjoyed every visit (why I keep going back). They are not back 100% yet since Hurricane Ian but getting closer. The rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. The view from the balcony is the best. The service throughout, from check in, housekeeping, restaurant and bars, is top in the industry!!! Would not stay anywhere else on the beach!!

Everything was great rooms nice decorated service at bars and café and restraurant was excellent. Very friendly staff housekeeping was right on the ball We have been coming to Lani Kai since 90’s. Only thing we should have asked for were different chairs for balcony as we age harder to sit low in andirondock chairs We Will be back. Can’t wait for island view to be done and open We spent 7 days march and then 10 days april

Paradise on the gulf! How many other hotels on Ft Myers Beach have ALL gulf facing rooms? Views and sunsets are fantastic! The beach is fine powdery white sand that doesn't get hot like other beaches. You can rent chairs and umbrellas right on the beach and they have someone from the outside bars go around so you can order from your chair. We had good luck shelling walking down the beach, had to look close and take our time but I came home with 20 lbs of shells between this beach and Cayo Costa excursion we took. Grace's Restaurant has delicious food. The Manager AnnMarie was so friendly and helpful. I asked about a special dish they had the previous visit so she checked with the General Manager Larry Puccia to see if they could make it for us since it was my big birthday and they agreed, ordered the ingredients and Pedro the chef cooked it up just for us. The happy hour at Grace's was always fun. Bartender Shady and Server Sydney always kept it fun times. And don't forget the happy hour appetizers, we loved the mussels. For lunch we tried out the vendors on the lower level. Philly Express and Yo! Taco were our favorites. If you don't like crowds, our visits the end of April and end of August were perfect off season times. Can't wait for our next visit!!

We enjoyed our stay as usual. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Even though it is still undergoing construction it is not the main focus. Great drinks, great beach - go and have fun! At a very reasonable price.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here. Friendly service, clean rooms. Breakfast bar is great and the woman are friendly! Highly recommend.

We had a great time at the Lani Kai, this is our 3rd time staying here. The rooms are very nice and all have an ocean front balcony. We will continue staying here everytime we visit Fort Myers.
