I travel to Fort Myers regularly and maintain diamond status. There has been a noticeable neglect/lowered standards at this property. My major issues from my last stay. Was not acknowledged as Diamond at check in or offered my Diamond perks until I forced the topic. Non functioning air on the 4th floor. Room #455. Lower half of window is completely damaged beyond repair. You can't see out of it. Water had to run for nearly 10 minutes before it got hotter than lukewarm. Door jam in bathroom missing much paint. Room in general is very dark. Only lights in living area are a small desk lamp and two bedside lamps. Cheap fiber filled pillows 8:40 am at breakfast; out of sausage and told no more was being made? At night I saw what looked like people sleeping in their vehicle's in the parking lot? At $130+ per night for midweek and in low season. Not a good value and not to the Hampton Inn standard.

hmmm..where do i begin? i arrived on sept 11th, thank you jesse K. for the wonderful check in experience and for your ongoing support and guidance during my 12 night stay ! you are very knowledgeable and precise and articulate and exceeded my expectations as a customer. i arrived in my room that i chose and to my suprise the bathtub was soiled, i managed to get in touch with housekeeping...and a you ng lady showed up to clean the bathtub after contacting her supervisor to transllate my request...as there was a language barrier...she came to my room with cloth and spray in hand and began to clean the bathtub with one hand while she had a man on live chat on her phone...so he could see me and her and my batroom and all my belongings in there....this to me was just wrong...i kep telleing her to turn off her phone and she happily chatted away with him on the screen...this whole experience was just wrong, unprofessional an to me violated my privacy in the room i paid for... as usual i put the sign on my door as i always do to ensure no one enters my room... next up was breakfast....cammie is the women that provided the food for my entire stay as the other employee was of on holiday..cammie..is a pro at this job.she i descreet, and not once was any of the items missing or low..she kept a careful eye on all the items and works very hard to ensure everything is done properly...and has a warm kind demeanor and her presence is calm and quite during the morning as she works...ive stayed at this property many many times in the past..and some of the people that used to worked there were loud, and running in to people and items were out...and it was just chaotic..but this was not my experience with cammie on staff... during breakfast every day,,,as usual,,,,the i want free food folks..enter from the pool doors that are unlocked..and open to the public...each day there was on average 4 to 5 men and women well dressed..that come in the back door and take food out to their car, of on their bike..or on foot and leave with piles of free food in hand...and some have the audicity to sit in the dining area and actually eat the free food with the paying guests at the next table...i kind of felt like i should have gotten a reduced rate for my kindness of paying for their food !! this has been an ongoing issue since i first stayed at this property in 2011, many years ago..and several long stays every year up until a few years ago...ive probably stayed well over a hundred nights in the past...and nothing has been done to resolve this ...and as well during my stay...in mid afternoon a man pulled up in and old black 4 door car, in the back parking lot.and walked right in through the back doors and made himself at home and went to sleep in the dining area..in one of the semi enclosed dining areas...snoring away...for all to see..i finally informed some one on staff and he was removed....all these people coming in the back doors that are open to the public...kind of de
