I've been coming up to Fort Bragg since I was a child in the 80s. I love Mendocino County, I love Fort Bragg even more, but I am absolutely head-over-heels in love with Noyo Harbor, The Wharf Restaurant and the Anchor Lodge! I love watching the fishing boats come in, the harbor seals swim by, and the seal lions play. At night, you can hear the fog horn. I just love it! Also doesn't hurt that it was in the movie Overboard! with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. My husband knew this place was so special to me that he chose to propose to me on the balcony of the Anchor Lodge back in 2018! I know the Anchor Lodge is a little dated, but it's clean and comfortable, and one of the most unique lodging choices in the world!

It was a fun little trip. The room is accessible by a code, no on site service. We had room 12 which had a conjoined door. Two nice comfy beds and pillows, little kitchen area with microwave and small fridge, coffee maker. One window does not have a black out curtain so it was a little brighter in the morning but not to bad. You can hear your neighbors talking next door so privacy is limited but they have an in room wall fan that helps for any noise. Place is in the same partly g lot as the wharf restaurant which was cool plus other places to eat. Best part is you can hear the fog horn. Tv worked and the shower was hot, no bath. For what we paid I am happy and will return to relax and enjoy the sea

Clean. I wanted a low-cost motel, but I was a little afraid of how grungy some of them can be. It ended up being quite clean. Good for the price we paid.

This place is hidden gem. The rooms are clean, online check in is easy and fast, they have codes for the rooms, so no need to go in and register. Staying in a working Harbor is exciting. Watching boats go in and out, the fog horn in the background, everything you need right there within walking distance! My first stay was 10 years ago, I try my best to stay here everytime I visit Fort Bragg CA.

Absolutely amazing! Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful view of the river and all of the boats coming and going! And the restaurant was delicious!!! Everyone was very friendly! I had a wonderful birthday weekend there!

This fun and quirky roo. Right on the water was very clean and comfortable. It was a day the restaurant was not open so it was very quiet.

The location is what you’re paying for, the hotel itself is very rustic and dated, not charming enough to make up for the lack of frills. Our room had ants around the bathroom sink, there wasn’t a microwave, the walls were thin, and the plumbing was loud. The service was horrible, who closes a hotel office at 4pm… seriously? We were sent the pin to enter our room, but they never sent us the room number. If you’re just looking for a place to crash for the night this would be perfect for a cheap couple or traveler. 2/5 - would not recommend
