We are repeat guests at this fabulous hotel and again we had a fantastic 2 night DBB break with Roof top Spa and were lucky enough to be upgraded and the room was fantastic, so thank you for that lovely little surprise. The hotel, Spa and grounds are outstanding , great care has been taken to ensure all of these are immaculate and superb for relaxing . We had the pleasure of the Summer weather being perfect while we were there so that always makes your trip that extra bit special as the Hotel grounds are fabulous for a stroll and you can always grab a drink or Pizza on the terrace or get a sun lounger for relaxation. It has to be said that all the staff are a credit to the hotel , very professional and so friendly and they go above and beyond. So many personal touches , consistently great service from the moment you check in. Our breakfast and evening meals were lovely , choice was good too and cooked to perfection. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so perfect Everything at the hotel is first class and that is why we will be returning , a little piece of paradise for a truly relaxing break.

Absolutely superb evening at the outdoor area of Rudding Park Hotel, the new menu is outstanding and fantastic value for top ingredients. Five of us and 3 Maltese pups enjoyed Mezes platters and handcrafted pizzas, along side beautiful wines and beers. The staff were discreet, but attentive, nothing was too much trouble. 10/10.

Visited today to have pre booked lunch Arrived the table still had the left overs and dirty crockery on the table, waiter cleared it but disgustingly didn't even sanatice the table before sitting down or thereafter The food was mediocre in fact had better at my local pub Both meals were grossly over seasoned and in fact we left half as it was really inedible, service was poor had to ask for water for the table as. Never asked if we would like another drink or to see the dessert menu Sorly disappointed and fully expected better from this establishment

Amazing stay in a lovely room with terrace. So glad we paid extra for the Terrace with it being a sunny day it made all the difference! Spa was unreal. However the breakfast in the spa restaurant was overcooked and the warm chocolate cake cold in the evening restaurant. There is room for improvement in the restaurants. It is very expensive and there are some optional extra charges on the bill which I feel are unnecessary due to the overall expense of everything. Service was great and the staff very helpful. Overall it was a great stay. I will return. Thank you rudding xx

3.5 * Not sure about this one. Cost us £432 for dinner bed and breakfast and access to the spa pool and sauna. We chose not to have access to the roof top pool as the extra prices were astronomical! And we didn’t have any treatments either so the word ‘spa’ is used here very loosely. Unlike other spas like hoar cross hall for example, very similar deal but so much more included! So was slightly dissapointed on that front. However, staff amazing, room 5* and a perfect night sleep. The grounds also incredible too! We had a dinner at Horto and that was very special and the food was really first class. The issue we had was the extra charges for everything. For instance, the lovely chapel is open for you to walk round which we did, say if I wanted to propose I could do it for free. If you told the hotel you wanted to propose they would charge £290 to have some petals down the aisle and to light the candles… ?? Room service and mini bar - we didn’t go for any of this as £46 for a bottle of prosecco is beyond stupid. Mixed nuts are a lovely £14 and if you want a few olives or a bottle of peroni, that’s going to cost you at least £6. Plus a 10 pounds charge to the room per person for even picking up the phone. We bought some drinks and snacks for the room in advance with us which we enjoyed. Mixed review. Room was perfect and loved it, the hotel as a whole was very stylish and the restaurant was brilliant and so were the staff.. just there could of been more to the spa.

Fantastic stay, room was one of the best we have stayed in. Stopped for 2 nights as a 63rd birthday surprise from my wife and it was very special. My wife telephoned inquiring if a balcony room was available and they kindly upgraded us to a fabulous room. All the staff were very welcoming friendly and professional. The grounds were very well kept and although they have wedding on you would never know as the events are very well managed and the hotel never felt over busy. Really enjoyed ourselves and will be back in the future. The only slight criticism not from ourselves but we witnessed a elderly couple next to us who were having soup, which at £9.50 for pea and water cress and they asked for a bread roll which it did not come with, the member of staff said they will ask the manager who said they would have to charge extra for it and to give a free roll was above his pay grade. I thought this was a little sad and the elderly couple declined to pay for the bread. I think penny pinching for a 4 star hotel is a little excessive, and most places I have been to include bread as part of the course. I would still highly recommend this hotel and some of my family members have previously stopped who recommended this to us and I am glad they did. Maybe give your managers a little discretion on making some basic decisions, allowing a bread roll for example. Highly recommend hotel.
