Hotel del Patio ★★★
"Great value of money"
Natz Hotel ★★
"Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. My partner and I travel for ten months out of the year and stay in hundreds of hotels and this place, in a word, is gross. The plaster is flaking off the walls, there is mould growing in the bathroom, which was filthy and they don’t have hot water, they weren’t out, they just don’t have it and after reading other reviews they haven’t for at least three years. This would be a good bit of information to put in their listing so guest are aware and can make an informed decision whether or not to endure cold showers for the duration of their stay. The pedestal fan in our room was broken, it still turned on but wouldn’t oscillate or stay pointing up. There were constant black outs which was incredibly inconvenient as we work online and when the power went so did the wifi. The staff were friendly enough but do you self a favour and spend a little more to stay anywhere else but here.
Villa Maya ★★★
"The hotel has a beautiful environment that makes people completely relax, no need to think about anything, just enjoy tranquility and comfort. The rooms are spacious and clean, the design is elegant, the bed is moderately firm and provides excellent sleep quality. The service staff is kind and attentive, making the overall accommodation experience more perfect. Fully equipped, whether it is a swimming pool, gym or restaurant, maintain a high standard. Every detail shows the intention and makes people linger. It is an ideal place to relax and stay away from the hustle and bustle, whether it is a holiday or a business trip, it is worth a try."
Hotel & Brunch Lirio de los Valles
"Great location, amazing and friendly staff. Best place to stay close to the Centro historico. Highly recommended"
Hotel Petén Express ★★
"Amazing value. Great place, friendly staff, good food, good location. At this price range I can't find faults at all. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay."
Hotel Casona del Lago ★★★
"A nice hotel on the beach of the lake, across a pedestrian bridge Flores Island with a bunch of restaurants. The hotel has a free shuttle from and from the airport. We were not very lucky with the room, no view, window into the corridor, but a large area and breakfast with beautiful view and delicious coffee. From there it is convenient to visit Tikal!"
Hotel Tiffany
"New hotel, very good care all super clean I recommend it to everyone, the only thing is that the pool is very cold so if they put you heating or something so that the water is not so spectacular! Thanks!"
Hotel Casona de La Isla ★★★
"Good breakfast. Very good location"
Hotel Peten ★★★
"The location was good, the staff were friendly, and the hospitality was excellent. However, I was given a different room despite having booked a lake view, which was a major drawback. Since the price was different, shouldn't they have been able to offer a discount?"

Hotel Isla de Flores
"go eat at the restaurant nuff said go eat at the restaurant nuff said"
Ramada by Wyndham Tikal Isla de Flores
"The gym was not open despite that being the reason I booked it. The pools were nice and so was the breakfast. The doors seemed a bit flimsy."
Las Lagunas Boutique Hotel
"Ideal place to stay near Tikal"
Hotel Casa Turquesa
"Flores is tiny and many of the hotels are within a few blocks of each other. The Casa Turquesa provides a perfectly reasonable option for two nights on your visit to Tikal. My room on the first floor was on the small side and the only window faced a hallway, not outdoors. But who cares. Bed was comfortable, plenty of convenient electrical outlets, room was clean, decent hot water and shower. Powerful air conditioner. WiFi worked fine. Front desk assistance was hit or miss. Some were great but some didn't want to be bothered. The room had a water bottle at check in but they made me pay (about US$0.80) the second night. Not much money but a PITA when you are managing a foreign currency, as they did not give change. There is an ATM down the street but it only gave me a credit card cash advance, not a checking withdrawal. They give you vouchers for an OUTSTANDING breakfast at a hotel next door (you can eat outdoors on the lake). One warning...they do offer a reasonably priced tour of Tikal. The guides were excellent. They split it into Spanish and English groups so you didn't have to listen to a translation at every stop. The Spanish speaking guide also spoke English and was a knowledgeable student of Mayan religious beliefs. Consider timing your trip for one of the solstices or equinoxes. Although it would probably be more crowded. BUT...the van that they use for the 90 minute ride was painfully cramped. No legroom whatsoever and there is a drop down seat in the aisle so you literally can't move. I wasn't sure that I would be able to walk afterwards. So perhaps, if you are over 5 foot 7, look into more comfortable transportation. And make sure that you have local currency and passport for the Tikal entrance fee, which was 150 Quetzals (approx US$20) in January 2025. So, yes, you can stay at the Casa Turquesa and perhaps save US$10 a night over some of the other options and get a great free breakfast."

Posada Itza
"New hotel with nice rooms but no hot water in the shower and no window. They serve good food, water is overpriced. Very friendly and helpful staff."
Hotel Sabana
"Hotel Sabana is in a great location! The service was great! BUT there is no warm water, feels are as rough as sand paper and the sheets as thin as they can be. Our room specifically had a broken faucet that kept randomly squeaking and we had to play with it several times to make it stop. We were also charged 200 quetzales more than our reservation said."
Maya Internacional
"Very nice room , simple but complete , very clean . The restaurant serves very good breakfast with a view of the lake . The reception is a little hidden and people appear to leave their post early. Had to look for it . No information was given on where to go for dinner and they forgot to put water in our room. It was ok but the service could be better (except at the breakfast restaurant)"
Hotel Casa Flores de Tikal
Mayan Spirit
"After a walk to the Mirador Rey Canek, we stopped by the hotel restaurant for coffee and pancakes and enjoyed a wonderful sunset on the terrace right by the lake. We would definitely come back :)"
