The staff were super nice, and helpful. And the view from the rooftop was also nice! The room was just a little bit bothersome since it was next to the boiler.

The room is in the middle of the old street, but the facilities in the room are not old. We live on the top floor, there is air conditioning and we don't feel the heat, and it is very close to the Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Fiore. There is a delicious chocolate shop nearby

This place was a great place to stay! Center location in florence and room was quite cool. It had a loft where the bed was and the bathroom was on the first floor. There was air conditioning and room was cozy. Only downside would be if you have a hard time walking up stairs the stairs to the bed were very step going up.

Perfect Trip in Florence!!! Everything was amazing, much more than expected! The room, the cleaning service, the gorgeous rooftop, the friendly staff.. Everything PERFECT! Can't wait to go back!! Thank you guys for such a beautiful stay :)

Nothing like the photos, a lot smaller and needs re decorating. Roof terrace not as clean as photo. Mould found on the walls, Noisy at night. Bathroom very small, a large person would probably not be able to get into the shower. But good location.

the total experience was negative, we booked 3 rooms 9 months before arrival, they offered rooms in 3 different floors, all bathrooms smell terrible and one of the rooms was economy instead of classic that we booked and paid. complaints were expressed directly to Federica without anything to be done (except from a small bottle of wine in one room and a note saying sorry).Never propose to anyone and very disappointed

I stayed one night here as I was passing through. This hotel is great especially for location. You’re walking distance to everything. Room and bed was a good size. The lady working reception was very nice, and provided great information. I was early for checkin but I was able to leave my bags and explore as I waited.

Where to start! We got there,went up the lift which was old,rickety and full of dust,it banged going up,like the “tower of terror “ ride in the Disney park. We got in our first room straight outside reception,not much room at all then she moved us to the 4th floor to a room with a bedroom upstairs on 2 floors,which we thought would be better! Absolutely not,the toilet was tiny,you couldn’t even sit on the toilet without having the door open. You had to step over the toilet to get in the shower which just spit out water all over the place then the bedroom was up a plank of stairs which would not have passed health & safety back in the uk. Tv was not working either which just added to the problems. Also on checking out we had to lug our suitcases down 4 flights of steps as the lift had packed in,all in all a terrible hotel which I would recommend to my worst enemy!

Not a fan of this place. I don't know how I did it but I thought I was booking at there real hotel. My mistake. But this isn't a "hotel". It's a couple of rooms in an apartment building. Very expensive as well. The Rooftop had no shade so if you go up there during the day you just bake if its hot out, and it was, Shower was WAY to small even for Italy. The frame was held together by tape. Room size was ok as far as Italy goes but the bathroom and shower were a shoebox. The front desk girl was very helpful and could not be nicer but my advice would be to look elsewhere.

The pictures look better than the establishment and the rooms. Additionally, 1. There was a constant faint to moderate unpleasant odor in the rooms and throughout the hotel. 2. No front desk after hours. 3. Elevator bounces on certain floors. On the positive note, room service was good, and location was convenient. That said, would not return to this hotel.

We stayed here for 6 nights over Valentine’s Day and were pleasantly surprised, we were on a budget and this accommodation was the most affordable in the city centre. We were worried after reading so many negative reviews but we had nothing bad to say about here at all! We stayed in a classic double room with a spacious bathroom and a large window. Everything worked and the TV came with Netflix, YouTube and Amazon prime. The rooftop was lovely and we spent most evenings up there drinking wine looking at the lovely view of the duomo, I’m not sure why it was previously described by others as a ‘death trap’, the steps were quite steep but that’s about it. It’s very high up but there are railings all the way around, we felt very safe. Our room was very clean and the receptionists were lovely, they were able to assist with any request we had and always asked us how we were/how our day was. It is less than a 10 minute walk from the Duomo and about 15/20 minutes from the tram/train station. If we stayed in Florence again, we would definitely stay here again.
