Hilton Garden Inn Flint Downtown

The room and hotel was great. I don’t like that you do have to pay.$20 per day for parking or you will need to use the city parking but you can’t park over night as city parking expires at midnight. The location has no pool but has a nice roof top. Drinks were pretty reasonable. Over all it was nice.

Main complaints are they didn't give me the room I reserved. They gave me a lower grade room for a higher price. I have a service dog but I don't know if that was the reason. Normally I leave him in the car until after checking I but this time I couldn't do to the fact they have no parking there. You either pay valet $20.00 or you have to drive across the street and park there for $5.00. I picked valet but told the guy that it had a handicap permit and he said there was an open spot in the lot attached to hotel. I told him I'd need something out of it later and was assured he'd bring my car up anytime I wanted it as that was included. So later when I went to get what I needed I was told valet went home and I'd have to go get it myself. While come to find out they had taken it across the street and parked it on the 3rd level. They didn't know what level it was on so I had to walk each level pressing the remote constantly. On top of that the elevator doesn't work at the parking structure so someone 71 years old with a service dog for mobility has a bit of a problem with that....anyway as you've probably figured I'm not at all impressed with the hotel.

Seriously clean hotel (our room was immaculate) in a gorgeous repurposed old building, this conveniently located hotel in downtown Flint meets the high standards you expect when you stay at a Hilton. Friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect from the host at the front desk to our room and the server in the restaurant. The fitness center was outstanding for working out. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a outstanding hotel experience.

I never check in they were over book I never got my room and they billed me anyway I wasn’t able to hook anywhere else had to drive back home 2 hour drive there and back !!!!

The air conditioner was broken and it was very hot. There was a reunion going on and it was very loud all night. It was very disappointing. The staff was friendly.
