Pros - Overall was good and very comfortable. F&B service was magnificent and very accommodating. It was never too troublesome to provide special service to a solo traveller.
Cons - My last night was a scare due to a disturbance at my door around midnight. Although I was assured that it was a mistaken of room numbers by other hotel guests, I was still very disturbed to fall back to sleep. Which resulted my decision to not extend another night stay. Really a pity.

During this trip to Mauritius, I stayed in a total of 5 hotels, including the popular Prince Hotel and LUX Hotel Mont Monas, but the one with the best overall experience was the cheapest. Of course, its hardware facilities are not comparable to the first two. Compare. The hotel restaurant’s resident kittens are a big part of this. I hope the hotel can treat these kittens well.

Anelia resort & spa is beautiful beach front hotel with the most spectacular ocean views. The staff are great. The rooms are spacious. Nestled on the west side of the Island, Anelia is Definitely the place to stay when in Mauritius. Amazing, amazing and great.

Anelia resort is on the West Coast of Mauritius. Beautiful private beach. Amazing sunsets. Welcoming and friendly staff. Tasty and wide variety of foods. We had a conference and everything was arranged very well. Also did some excursions to Port Louis. Shopped clothing, tea and biscuits.
