It was a terrible experience room number 9
The carpets in the staircase to the room were filthy
The tv and WiFi did not work
The handle to the bathroom door is hanging off the hot water tap was broken making a terrible noise
The two leather armchairs in the bay window were very old and leather was cracked
We had to drag our luggage up several flights of stairs
We went to the restaurant the dinner and breakfast was good but the faux leather seats in the Restaurant were all torn
They had loud music all night until 1am and we were not able to sleep
All in all we were very disappointed and certainly will not visit there again
The corridors out to the carpark were very tired and tatty basically the place needs a good overall modernisation

A strange set up - the hotel and restaurant are separate. The restaurant was very good, the service cheerful and welcoming and the food very fine. The room was good too, comfortable bed, nice and quiet. Would certainly stay here again.

The place needs updating everything is falling apart and the staircase to room 9 was filthy the hot water tap was loose and terrible noise coming from the pipes the door handle was falling off the chairs in the bay window were all ripped the tv and WiFi did not work noise from the pub went on until 1am we could not sleep the chairs in the Restaurant were all ripped and the passageway to the car park was filthy and needed updating the only plus point was the dinner and breakfast we will not be returning terrible place

Staff were pleasant enough, but unable to help with the extreme heat in the room making it very uncomfortable to sleep. We were in room 5 which is located directly above the kitchen. There was a fan in the room which blew out warm air due to the motor heating up. A working fan would have made a big difference

Cracking hotel
I didnt know what to expect when i booked this hotel. I was very very happy. Hotel was clean and well finished. Great service, lovely staff. Breakfast was amazing lovely and hot. We are planning on going back again in October. Great!

A stay at the rose and crown
Room clean but tired looking, Bedding clean but firm, we were staying in number 3 bedroom and the fan on outside wall was noisy when trying to sleep, but the staff were friendly and helpful.

The area was nice, room clean but mattresss old and hard. Toilet did not flush. But otherwise not to bad.
