Yuemeng Hotels in Fenghuang

Stayed in the Yanxia Yunran Private Soup River View Suite for two nights and waking up to the beautiful river and ancient rooftops felt like stepping into a dream (photo with our view is attached). The suite was spotless, cozy, and had a charming traditional aesthetic with modern comforts (that huge stone bathtub with a view was perfection). The owner didn’t just host us, he gave us the trip of a lifetime. We arrived late in the evening and took advantage of the amazing location to explore some of the town before heading back to our room. Which then, the owner welcomed us with tea and sesame seed dumplings. He went above and beyond on our second day. He helped us bargain for new luggage, acted as our complimentary translator/guide, booked us tickets to an unforgettable local show, and even found the best spot for Miao ethnic clothing photoshoots. We ended the night with him treating us to local BBQ and drinks, sharing stories, and teaching each other about our cultures. This isn’t just a B&B, it’s a cultural immersion with a host who treats you like old friends. If you’re going to Fenghuang, book here. No question. We’re already planning our return!

On the first day of the National Day holiday, getting this for less than 400 yuan was really a steal. Considering it's a hotel near a 5A scenic area, we chose it for the convenient parking, rather than staying in Fenghuang Ancient Town itself. There's ample parking here, which was great. The hotel can also arrange a car to take guests near the ancient town, as long as it's not during peak traffic. We booked an audio-visual king room, and I have to say, the projector's sound quality was excellent, and all movies were free! The room was very spacious, and the facilities and amenities were high quality. The bedding and pillows were also quite comfortable. Our room even had a river view, and there was an outdoor balcony where we could chat and relax. Breakfast was good; the fungus noodles were delicious, though the milk quality was a bit disappointing. All the staff provided excellent service. They helped us with our luggage, and I noticed a lady in the lobby patiently explaining the tour route, locations, and precautions for Fenghuang Ancient Town to every guest. You can also buy discounted tickets for attractions shaped like phoenixes there, which are cheaper than online.

This stay far exceeded my expectations; from the moment I checked in until checkout, everything was incredibly pleasant. The hotel's location is super convenient, surrounded by all sorts of shopping and dining, yet it's surprisingly quiet. The service was especially warm and attentive, with staff even recommending some unique local spots to visit. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and I instantly relaxed the moment I lay down, sleeping soundly until I woke up naturally. The bathroom features a dry and wet separation design, with stable hot water and excellent water pressure. The toiletries had a subtle, pleasant scent and felt high-quality. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the city, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering thoughtful touches that made my our unforgettable. The hotel itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and exudes a warm, inviting charm that immediately puts you at ease. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the host’s incredible kindness and attention to detail. Whether it was offering local recommendations, checking in to see if I needed anything, or just greeting me with a warm smile each day, their hospitality was truly top-notch. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and love what they do.

The hygiene was excellent, and the front desk staff were very welcoming, making check-in a breeze. I immediately dove onto my big bed! The room was comfortable and well soundproofed, and the price was good. The hotel's location is also fantastic, with convenient parking. It truly lives up to its reputation as being in the prime spot of Fenghuang Ancient Town. I even caught a stunning sunrise in the morning! Of course, the Tuojiang River is right outside. To the left is the Stepping Stone Bridge, and to the right is the Snow Bridge. Attractions like Shen Congwen's Former Residence and Hongqiao are just a few minutes' walk away, which is perfect for lazy planners. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can head back to the hotel to relax. At night, opening the window reveals a beautiful view of the river illuminated by red lanterns, meaning you don't have to worry about commuting back and forth at all. Overall, it was great, and I'll definitely be staying here again! Very satisfied!

The homestay’s environment and rooms are beautiful and clean, and the rooms were very spacious. Staff were helpful, and the boss gave suggestions on where we can go to sightsee and eat. Location was close enough to the main attractions. The beds are also spacious and comfortable, and it was quiet at night so we had a good night’s rest. Simple breakfast was provided in the morning. Would stay again if I come to Feng huang again!

It was a long-awaited trip to Chang'an (Xi'an), and the night views were absolutely stunning! The host at the B&B was incredibly kind. He offered a complimentary pick-up from the station and even helped us carry our bags up to our room (no elevator, so huge thanks to him for the effort!). When we checked out, he even gave us a small farewell gift. The service was truly exceptional and thoughtful.
