The hotel was renovated just a few years ago. It is very clean. There is an elevator. The price is very affordable. The proprietress is kind-hearted and easy to communicate with. If I want to know more about the scenic spot and local characteristics, the proprietress will patiently answer the questions. The hotel is about 3 kilometers away from the scenic spot. We drove by ourselves. For those who have traveled there, there is a small yellow car downstairs of the hotel to go to Fenghuang Ancient City, which is very convenient. Don’t drive to the scenic spot at night, don’t drive, don’t drive, otherwise everyone will make you cry when you look for a car to park.

Very close to the scenic spot, a few hundred meters away, breakfast and dinner, we all eat opposite the road, the environment is OK, after all, not very expensive hotel facilities are worth the price, and it is very quiet.

Booked a triple room online, affordable, free parking, more than 9 pm, the boss sent someone to the parking lot to receive the homestay, and also upgraded two rooms, one double standard, one single bed, all by the river view room, the location is very good, wake up and open the curtains is the Lijiang willow tree under someone to wash clothes, Visit the ancient city during the day, and drink tea in front of the window at night to see the night view is beautiful.

SStephanieThe staff were great at this hotel! They were waiting for us at the taxi drop off point, and helped carry our heavy luggage. They were so friendly and helpful, giving advice for the local area, offering hot milk in the evening and organising our taxi on departure.
The hotel room was also great! The room was spacious, thanks to a free upgrade. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were fantastic!
The balcony view was amazing. The location is a little further from the main area, but it is a nice stroll to get there after always eating too much. Thanks so much for a great stay, would recommend and stay again .

WWSLRI arrived late in the local area and checked in at 7:30pm. It was extremely hard to find the place, and it's not very obvious. Upon my arrival, the boss said, ”Because you are from abroad, it was difficult to contact you. We normally go and pick you up. ” The reception/ check-in area stank of cigarettes and felt so uncomfortable being in a confined area. The owner took me to my room, which was the biggest he said. It smelled musky/damp, but the bed was soft and comfortable. Since I was only staying for 2 nights. The second night, the card key didn't work. Texted the owner, and he said it needs to be checked in every day, which he didn't mention. Luckily, I left my window open during the afternoon and managed to open the door from the side. There is a mini fridge, but it makes a lot of noises, so I have to unplug it. The bathtub was really nice. Breakfast is good, a bowl of hot noodle soup, hot fresh soya milk. .

I personally would stay no more than one night. You pay for the great location - right on the river and by all the hustle and bustle. The party does not stop at 10pm - I swear it was loud outside until 2am and you definitely hear it.
The room we chose (with a large patio) was extremely small and cramped. We couldn't enjoy our patio during the summer because there were so many mosquitoes at the door. We left a mosquito-repellant incense at the patio door and that helped a little, but we didn't dare having tea outside like we originally wanted.
The hotel also didn't feel secure. Our room was by the back door, which stayed open for most hours of the day. It was very convenient to get to our room, but the open door felt like a safety hazard. They said that they would close it at midnight, but that is too late for my comfort.
Service was okay at best. They tried contacting us before we arrived but we don't have a Chinese phone number. Responses through WeChat were a bit slow during some hours, and sometimes the front desk was empty. Perhaps we were just unlucky. The morning we left, the manager lady seemed the most competent and warm, but everyone else was a bit lackluster.
The room is old, and the bathroom has rusting metal. Toiletries were at least covered the essentials. No welcome snacks, but at least there were two bottles of water. Is it bad for us to expect more at the price we're paying? Among all the high end hotels we stayed at during our trip at this price point, this was the least impressive by far. The hotel pictures felt misleading on terms of quality and cleanliness.

VVirginiaThe location of the hotel is nice, it’s close to everything but not quite in the midst of all the loud bars and restaurants. The rooms themselves were fine, although the walls were a bit dirty, and much of the tile could have used more caulking. The entire counter of our sink moved if bumped. Also, there was something not quite right with our shower head. However, the bed was comfortable and you can’t just beat the view from the balcony.
The owner was helpful when I took the initiative to add them on wechat as well. They gave us recommendations for food and advised us on where to do the river boat ride.
Overall, a fine place to stay for a night in Fenghuang.

GGuest UserGreat place with wonderful hosts that are friendly and can help with arrangements for sightseeing. Place is conveniently located on the river bank, right next to the main bridges to the main Old City part.
A room is not big, but very comfortable for a one person stay. Please keep in mind, that the toilet has half-transparent glass wall, so for traveling couples it might be a leap to a next level of intimacy:)
As it's located immediately at the river bank, where most bars are also located, be prepared for the outside noise (loud music, stops at 11.30 pm), but with closed door to the balcony very tolerable. For me it was fine as the wonderful view on the balcony was more important.
Balcony has a small table and two chairs (one of which is a swing), great for breathing out and chilling after a busy day on you feet after visiting all the scenic areas.
The place is quite clean, no smell of tobacco of whatsoever.
Would definitely recommend for short stay.

GGuest UserWe stayed for 3 nights. As it is the off-season now, we basically booked the whole B&B, which was a bit embarrassing 😂😂. The location is a little hard to find, but the owner will call ahead to greet you. The room balcony has a beautiful view. The boss is very nice and always answers any questions I have. During the trip, I asked him to recommend transportation, restaurants and travel photography shops to help me avoid any pitfalls. The boss also helped me buy tickets for the ”Phoenix Show”, which were cheaper than outside.

JJacquelineLousy hotel, very disgusting especially the toilet area with lots of water flow out from the bathe and washing machine. Just practically bad design of the water flow where water is trapped with nowhere to go. Still long flight of steps from the entrance where cab drop us. I booked this place as saw some good reviews in Chinese say they went in hotel before decide and pay after comparing for few hotels so I pick this room instead but it is not value for money. I rather pay more for another hotel closer to the road. The whole ancient city is practically hard to travel if you have heavy luggage. Cab is also private only so it makes price not standardize.
I give 3 stars which is good service as they help me to carry the luggage up the stairs when I leave the place, the balcony is okay but it is beside stream so lots of mosquito / bugs.

YYaoshinengdazhejiuhaoleB&B is more suitable for traveling with family. The room I booked is divided into two small rooms, sharing a large balcony. There are observation decks on the third and fourth floors of the B&B. The room is clean and dormitory, but the smell of humidity cannot be avoided due to environmental reasons, but I had a good rest. . Boss business is booming✌️

CChongtuamLove everything about the hotel! Staffs are very friendly. You can ask them for recommendations and they are willing to help(ask for their wechat!). The room was clean and have good view of the river. At night you can see the show from your room window. The location is convenient for walking to different places. The room have everything you need even a mini washing machine and a heated hanger!! There is a bathtub in the room too. Just the entrance that you have to lift your luggage up the stairs.

GGuest UserDengli Courtyard Inn has a comfortable small courtyard, which is very suitable for parents to stay with, giving them a sense of comfort in their own courtyard. They can sit in the courtyard in the morning. The owner is also very enthusiastic and kind, just like a friend, and will introduce us which restaurant has delicious food. It is also very convenient to stay in Dengli Courtyard when visiting scenic spots, so that you can go back to the inn to rest when you are tired.
