Once again a wonderful stay at Farlam Hall. A lovely welcome upon arrival and three nights of different experiences during the Diwali Celebration. A very enjoyable time with good company, delicious food, fireworks and a lovely walk to a nearby tarn. A celebration not to be missed.

We have just returned from another wonderful 3 days at Farlam Hall. It’s easy to see why everyone gives it 5 stars because Hrishi is so dedicated and passionate, not just about the cuisine and the dining room but in making every detail of the hotel, from the front door to the back door, as perfect as it can be. Farlam Hall is everything it claims to be.

A wonderful stay at Farlam Hall Hotel celebrating a milestone birthday. The room was cosy & beautifully decorated, with some lovely touches such as bathrobes, slippers & Molton Brown toiletries. We ate at The Cedar Tree restaurant - this was the absolute highlight. We choose the journey tasting menu & wine flight. Every course was a delight. We would highly recommend a stay at Farlam Hall Hotel.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in in the UK. All the staff were lovely, the food was great, the room was very comfortable and spacious. the attention to detail is superb. The grounds are outstanding, we were lucky with the weather and the surrounding walks were excellent.

The hotel is beautiful and set in lovely grounds with an amazing Cedar tree to view from the dining room. We were greeted by Kirsty who gave us a brief tour and showed us to our Junior suite which was delightful - beautifully furnished with comfortable beds. Our evening meal was in the Bistro Enkel and the food was divine and the serving staff friendly and helpful. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. The next day breakfast was just as good , all freshly cooked so therefore it was served nice and hot .. We had a fabulous time and can highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Fabulous team , really welcoming with outstanding hospitality- the evening tasting menu was truly fabulous, well balanced with real interest and depth of flavour. My wife’s dietary requirements were expertly and discreetly accommodated. Lovely room and gardens- looking forward to returning.

This was our second stay at this wonderful hotel and we can’t wait to return for a third visit soon. We arrived on Valentines evening, unpacked then headed into the beautiful restaurant to start our 3 hour, 12 course tasting experience and it was just fantastic. The staff were amazing and a special shout out needs to go to the lovely lady who ensured our wine glasses were topped up regularly and the lovely young waiter who served our food and explained everything so well to us, he was just great! We then retired for the night in our extremely comfy bed. Before setting off home we went for breakfast and for us this was the only little complaint we had. Both of our cooked breakfasts were cold and unfortunately as I had Eggs Royale I genuinely couldn’t even attempt to eat more than a couple of mouth fulls, my partner did manage to eat some of his English breakfast though. The lovely waitress came and cleared our plates but didn’t comment on the food left and we didn’t want to cause any fuss so just said nothing - perhaps we should have! Would this stop us returning, absolutely not but next time we’ll ask for our food to be extra hot at breakfast time .
