Property Description
One bedroom has a queen size bed, the other two twins. There is also a carpeted attached garage that gives additional space and has a double bed. You actually enter the house through the garage so, except for the door that makes it handy to bring in luggage, you wouldn't know it's a garage.
It sits on a three and a half acre lot right next to the cabin with the addition that we have used for VRBO for the past two years. The original owner built what is now our home for them and this cabin for his folks in the 1950’s. This is a cozy, old-fashioned log cabin with a million dollar view of the Chena River. It was the perfect spot for us to come home to after our daily adventures.

We loved this cozy 1950s log cottage. Views of the river were great from the living room and the back yard. Very quiet and peaceful. Nice location for visiting the Fairbanks area. Our only complaint: The owner got her dates mixed up, so the house wasn't cleaned and ready for us when we arrived - it really needed a deep cleaning/dusting too, overall.

Cabin on the river
Mardee's place was very comfortable. She provides a lot of extras in the kitchen. We were able to enjoy a batch of brownies! The home is very comfortable and we felt right at home.

We love staying at this cabin right on the river. Great view watching people on the river. Easy access to stores. Owner makes checkin easy. We’ve stayed here multiple times.

Very quaint rustic little cabin. It could sleep more than what we thought. Not fancy but super homey and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Very nice quiet neighborhood and on the Chena River. It was right outside the living room windows. Great place to take the family and unwind. Nice big yard. I would stay there again definitely!!!
