Duling Kurtz House & Country Inn

We absolutely loved our stay at the Duling-Kurtz House & Country Inn. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The inn is rich in history and beautifully maintained, with charming period details that give it so much character. We stayed in the Lincoln Suite, which was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the updated private bath was a pleasant surprise. Everything felt thoughtfully curated to create a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. Dinner at the restaurant was a true highlight. The ambiance was warm and romantic, and the food was outstanding. We enjoyed perfectly cooked duck breast and scallops, along with their signature popovers and lemon curd—absolutely delicious. The service was gracious and attentive, making the entire evening feel special. The grounds are peaceful and picturesque—perfect for a quiet morning stroll. The location is also great for exploring nearby attractions in Chester County. If you’re looking for a serene, historic escape with top-notch hospitality and fine dining, this inn is a fantastic choice. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I am a big B&B traveler...so expectations can be like a toss of the coin. My coin fell to the floor with a thud! After booking i was told...you know...this isn't really a B&B! We only offer a continental breakfast! This meant weak coffee, tea, maybe some fruit, cheap-o yogurt and a bun of some sort in cellophane...yes..the same for three days! The towels were transparent with holes...we went to the local TJMAXX to find some towels that would at least cover us and could dry our in-shock bodies...during the shower you could be at a normal temp. and then...COLD...yes COLD like ice! Then a burn! Now...lets look at the back of the TV...which did work! FILTH...and I mean FILTH! DISGUSTING! What a huge mistake to wait to book a hotel in the area...NEVER again I hope. The grounds were not kept the way you would expect.. WEEDS where you could imagine at one time could have been a pretty garden.. I love the history of the place...but that was it. Our room was VERY small...not even a closet! Such ashame to call this a B&B! or a lodge! OK...one good thing...parking was free!

A Rare and Historical Gem Staying at a Colonial Inn is an experience not to be missed. It is an act of love from the owners to keep this place going. The grounds were so peaceful. The restaurant was top notch and affordable. Just and all around special time here. If you're looking for something away from the gentrification come to this supernaturally unique and authentic country Inn. Very romantic.

Very nice, clean, historic, and quiet Inn. The property needs landscaping attention. Small bathroom. Bed was comfortable, yet two poster beds were put together to make a King. One of our lamps didn’t work. Coffee, tea, breakfast bars, fresh fruit and ice were available to guests. Very pleasant staff.

It was an amazing time spent at this in the restaurant. Attached was absolutely amazing for fine, dining, beautiful setting love the history. Definitely book your next stay
