What a great experience. Staff upgraded us to a jacuzzi tub room. We were not informed that the pool and hot tub were not available. We used the reservation number in the back of our card. Very polite and friendly staff. The breakfast was the best out of our entire 3 week holiday with a real treat of ham.

This is a great hotel and I would definitely stay here again! There were cookies and iced tea available when we checked in. Our two-queen room was so spacious! There was a nice kitchenette area with cabinets, microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. The free breakfast was very nice with a wide variety. Good value. Comfortable bed.

Horrible hotel Screaming children running around playing tag. No rules or expectations for sports teams. Kids banging on doors. Noisy, you hear everything. Woke up at 6 because we were right next to elevator and ice machine. Even though requested a quiet room MONTHS ago. Terrible experience

Issues: 1) At check out there was an additional 2% eco-friendly charge on the bill. As there was no explanation of this new charge at check in I had no idea what this fee covered nor had I agreed to pay this fee. Yes, there is a disclaimer that additional fees may apply, but this speaks to a lack of transparency and accountability by BW and the hotel property to share this information at time of reservation. The morning front desk could not explain what this fee covered, so when asked to remove the fee, I was told the supervisor would call me once they got to work. I never received a call back from the hotel. I’d checked out, problem solved, right? 2) There were ants crawling all over the coffee station in the lobby. The evening front desk was notified. The 2% eco-cleaning fee should have been used to address this problem. Summary: Strike 1: I do not appreciate when a hotel includes additional fees that are not shown with the reservation amount. As apparently a regular fee, add to the property info on the BW site at time of reservation. Strike 2: At this property this fee was not explained or highlighted at check-in. Nor was there any visible literature on what makes this property eco-friendly to warrant/cover the additional charge. Strike 3: No follow up from the management with a dissatisfied guest to resolve the issue/provide explanation as I’d requested the charge be removed given the lack of transparency of this charge. Final thought, this is the first time I’ve encountered a hidden/additional fee at a BW property.

Our room was very clean, the bathroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful! This was our second time staying here. We would stay here a third time! .

Stayed on business, clean ,convenient, reasonably priced, great staff, complimentary coffee and cookies, Room was big. Not the newest hotel but the staff and cleanliness make this place

The hotel was decent enough and there’s a restaurant within close walking distance. The service from the front desk staff left a little to be desired. I checked in with a colleague who is a Platinum member of the Best Western Rewards program and was treated like gold. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and chatty with her. Then I checked in and it was as if a completely different person was serving me. I can’t say she was rude but the friendly demeanour was gone and I felt like I was being treated like a lower class of person, for lack of a better term. My colleague received a complementary bottle of water and I was coldly told that that was for platinum members only. I can completely understand that platinum members receive extra benefits (I am a member of most hotel programs) but it was the tone in which she delivered that message that was unnecessary. That kind of blatant difference is how two guests were treated at the same time both surprised and disappointed me. The hotel is clean and other than my experience at the front desk I was satisfied with it. I will stay there again if travelling to Estevan for work but only because I like the location. I will hope for more respectful treatment next time.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was closed and unavailable. Bathroom had hair all over the floor, beds were incredibly hard. Breakfast was served it to-go bags (we were told this was due to low occupancy). The bags were packed randomly (rather than per person like the forms) and liquid was in a hotel cup rather than a juice box or milk container). Not the quality expected from a Best Western Plus location.
