Beautiful hotel! Staff were so helpful and the service was amazing. The rooms were clean and the housekeepers always checked in morning and evening to make sure we had everything. The restaurant’s food was so delicious every evening as we ate there 3 evenings. The staff at the restaurant were always so accommodating.

AGH! I reserved almost 1 year ahead of time requesting ocean view. I got a room far from the beach, looking inland, just over the hotel landfield (yes, the trash!). There was also some view of the engine rooms and hotel plant. Much discussion, they would not budge, and lied over room availability. Swimming pool area gets crowded: if you don't stake your claim for a chaise by 7am by covering one with a towel (you have to keep a swimming pool area towel from previous day), you are out of luck. Forget about getting one with a shade umbrella. And the sitting on the beach is now very limited, and for pay. Room cleaning did not come every day: we in fact had to go put in a requests and call repeatedly to get maids to come (daily cleaning is of course supposedly included). Pluses? Beds were OK, AC worked in room, shower not so good, good internet wifi across resort including rooms.

We are currently staying here and whilst the hotel and food are generally excellent the only restaurant open throughout the day is Spilers as the pool bar and other restaurants are closed. We were not made aware of this at time of booking. This is compounded by the lack of pool service so getting any food or drink is near impossible. You have to hunt down staff who then argue that they are too busy to take your order. Complained to reception in writing twice. Nothing improved.

Very expensive hotel offering hardly any service; rooms magnificent but that's all. Breakfast outstanding. Three restaurants available, Spiler next to the pool GOOD, Balthazar average and bar snacks also average. Be patient for car and luggage. Poor blur overall.

Amazing romantic weekend escape to Estepona. The room was excellent and gastronomy in the hotel is on top-level, really advise to visit Spiler beach club. We rented the bikes at the hotel and explored Estepona vía Senda Litoral. Will be back soon

Lovely hotel right on the beach with fabulous gardens and pool. Well appointed rooms. Quiet location 8-10euro cab ride from town. If i had to gribble then i would suggest that accessible access for the disabled to the gardens and pool is not good with a steep slope and uneven crazy paved path. The alternative is lots of steps. Either way its not good. I couldn’t see a pool hoist for those in need. Sadly the hotel will close for the winter as the new owners Melia come in. Let us hope they keep the quality and improve the accessibility in their improvements.
