We booked a one-night package deal with massage, spa and dinner. The dinner was very uncomfortable, because we were first seated in the same room with a funeral party. It felt disrespectful towards the mourners and we were not dresses for a funeral as the rest of the guests. The waitor was very friendly and moved us upstairs, were we then ate alone. The good was great. But all in all, I think the planning was not respectful and made us feel we were crashing a funeral. In the morning we wanted to use the spa, but there was some problem with the drains and we couldnt use the steemroom because of the stink. Backbyn kartano did not think any of this was a problem as we gave feedback to them.

Lovely location, very nice breakfast, also enjoyed very much the nearby frisbeegolf course (separate 6 euro charge which was ok). Spa rather small, but that was ok for us. Rooms were ok, though really lacked air conditioning.

Has potential due to its history and surroundings, but falls short in too many areas. Very outdated rooms and service not always up to the level one would expect in a place like this. Seems to be struggling with where they want to direct their business focus on and this is visible to the customers.

No blanket no pillows provided for kids, no reception after 9pm. Sofa-bed broken, poor breakfast! Will not recommend for the family.

Hellepäivä lapsen kanssa
Aamiainen loistava, laadukkaat leipomukset, hyvä kahvi. Alue ihanan rauhallinen, kävimme myös lyhyen matkan päässä Myllyjärvellä. Kaipasimme rauhaa ja aurinkoa ja se oli taattu. Seuraavan kerran kaksi yötä niin ehtii kävellä pidemmänkin retken uimaan. Lapsi tykkäsi sisäaltaasta erityisen paljon.

Kort avstånd från Helsingfors, lantligt, tyst o fridfullt. Stort rum. Enda påpekandet är att man kunde ha sandat - allt var glashalt pga töväder och återfrysning. Detta var min andra vistelse och jag kommer garanterat nästa pr igen. Husdjursvänligt!
