Beachfront Resort
8.5 (17 reviews)

Beachfront Resort ★★★

📍 F5H6+FVJ, Red Corner, Luganville

"It is not clear whether the room reservation includes breakfast. The order shows that you need to buy additional breakfast, which is hard to understand. So I had to leave the hotel without enjoying the breakfast service, which is a pity. I did not enjoy the solar hot water."

Barrier Beach Resort
9.1 (49 reviews)

Barrier Beach Resort ★★★★

📍 Lot 11 Barrier Beach, Saraotou

"This resort is really lovely and located on a beautiful and accessible beach. Our Beach side fare (no 7) was clean, comfortable and very private - with direct access to the beach. Kayaks, snorkeling gear and SUPs were free to use, and the snorkeling a couple of hundred metres off the beach was nice. Staff were excellent- super friendly, efficient and welcoming. The entire Resort was immaculately clean and the facilities in general were excellent. The only downside is the restaurant which is the only food option available when we visited. It’s both expensive and underwhelming however we understand this is under review. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was acceptable."

Garden Reef Bungalows
10 (1 reviews)

Garden Reef Bungalows

📍 Garden Reef Bungalows East Coast road, Santo, Espiritu Santo

"We have just had 5 glorious weeks staying at the Garden Reef Bungalows. Our room was huge and had an 8m frontage onto the ocean. The snorkelling right out our front door was fabulous with so many varieties of exquisite fish and coral. The gardens have beautiful tropical plants tended by the sweetest gardeners. We made our own brunch each day in the large well equiped communal kitchen and walked next door each evening to the Salty Dog Restaurant at Turtle Bay Lodge. The food is delicious and the staff so happy and friendly. We cannot recommend the Garden Reef Bungalows enough."

The Espiritu

The Espiritu ★★★

📍 Main St, Luganville

"Good restaurant! Mario attended us and was really present!.. good ambiance and address in Luganville."

Turtle Bay Lodge
9.4 (50 reviews)

Turtle Bay Lodge ★★★

📍 Turtle Bay, Malwepe

"Great location/base to do the East coast. Loads of activities on offer - kayaking to the blue holes is a must. Beautiful ocean front rooms and resort grounds with many lounges to enjoy a quiet spot."

Aore Breeze
9.6 (5 reviews)

Aore Breeze ★★

📍 Point, Aore

"Aore breeze is a beautiful spot to relax and explore Aore and Santo islands. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night and loved relaxing in the hammock on the balcony. Definitely recommend bringing reef shoes to make the most of the snorkeling right out front. There was plenty of exploring to do and the kids loved getting around on quad bikes and boat. Very friendly staff were happy to help with activities and organizing trips to Santo. We can’t wait to go back!"

Tropicana Motel & Backpackers
6.2 (13 reviews)

Tropicana Motel & Backpackers

📍 F5PF+J28, Ave Picanon, Luganville

"Don't expect a good nights rest when you stay here. People are up all hours of the night. So, if you dont care about sleeping and want to join the religious singalong at 5 am than this is your place. Rooms are kept clean, its cheap. The other motel residents seemed "permanent""

Deco Stop Lodge
9.1 (29 reviews)

Deco Stop Lodge ★★★

📍 Paiaporou Avenue, Luganville

"The Deco Stop Lodge is in a wonderful location with a view of the bay from my room, the open air restaurant/cafe/bar and the pool. I travelled to Espiritu Santo with 5 friends for a diving holiday. Our non-diving days were filled with adventures, activities and sight seeing all organised with ease by Ben and Kim, the resort owner/managers. They were always there for a friendly chat and to take care of anything we might need. The local staff were helpful, friendly and had wonderful senses of humour. We shared many laughs. I can easily recommend the DSL as a place to stay and enjoy on Espiritu Santo Island."

Aore Island Resort
8.9 (44 reviews)

Aore Island Resort ★★★★

📍 Road, Aore Island, Luganville

"Beautiful resort with great staff and facilities. We only did a day trip to Aore Resort as an adventure and it was a great escape, fares, common areas, gardens and facilities all look wonderful and staff were welcoming and great. Would certainly consider staying here."

Beachfront Resort ★★★
"Resort directly on the beach, nice but nothing special... resort run by Italians, Italian chef... their homemade gnocchi are exceptional... very nice and spacious bungalow... sun loungers on the beach and a lovely pool."

Barrier Beach Resort ★★★★
"We went to Barrier beach resort due to a sale on Luxury Escapes 7 days , we had no idea how perfect this would be , we took the risk with wet season , it only rained 1 night , we stayed in #2 beach Forè it has a fan no air con , we had a good breeze most of the time , if you want to declutter and unwind your mind the simplicity and quiet here is medicine .The snorkelling out front was stunning , the food was beautiful the staff and managers Wayne and Sabine made us feel spoilt , our Taxi driver Tusty was great , a safe driver , waited while we explored and snorkled the top spots , our bed was comfortable , we couldn't fault our stay ❤️"

The Espiritu ★★★
"The location is very convenient to explore the island and shop for everyday things. We've celebrated New Year's Eve there and it was very remarkable, but honestly the main meal could be better like prawns or squids were a bit tasteless especially for the price. The stuff is amazing, they could resolve any problem you have and e.g. permitted us to use the pool after checkout and during the private party. Although the breakfast could be more diverse or buffet style"

Turtle Bay Lodge ★★★
"Lovely place to stay for a little luxury at the end of our 2 week stay on Santo. Rooms well presented, clean, mosquito protected and airy to catch the sea breeze. Delicious food with plenty of options for meat eaters as well as vegetarian. Friendly staff all eager to help with anything we needed. We had a 5am start one morning so they delivered breakfast to our room the night before so we wouldn’t miss out. Loved that staff checked in (with genuine interest) on us over dinner to see how our day went. The perfect end to an unforgettable holiday!"

Deco Stop Lodge ★★★
"From the moment we arrived at Deco Stop Lodge we were met with fabulous hospitality, stunning views, amazing food and beautiful sunsets. You can be as active or relaxed as you like. There is so much to see and do in Santo and Ben and Kim can plan and book you into tours that will suit you. The friendly, happy and attentive girls make sure you want for nothing. This is an amazing place to visit with one of the best views on the island while sipping a cold beverage and eating locally sourced produce. We cant wait to plan our next trip.."

Aore Island Resort ★★★★
"Location was Amazing !!! However, Other than our original communication to book & pay ,there really was none. I had to find it all out via the Insta page. As soon as we arrived the resort staff took 2 couples straight of the boat & started walking , I had to run after her to ask if we were meant to be with her ? Then she took us to the wrong room ? the other couple got told whatever she told them , we couldn't hear anything she said . There is no actual check in , the island way they do it could work well if it's done right . My husband & I just looked at each other & said what was that ? Resort room keys ? yes we found them eventually . We booked the private pool villa #8 . Was it worth $560 a night ? NO!!!!! It was raining 5 days out of 7 which meant the floor was always wet & slippery. MATS NEEDED !!!! WE had NO RUNNING WATER for 1 of those days . The kettle was full of broken off calcium debris No drying rack for wet towels ?swimmers ? WE booked 2 Celebration dinners , #1 they forgot #2 we got served entree & drinks , then they forgot about us. I sent a message to Montana via Insta & she was lovely about it > She gave us a refund , BUT the point is that was 2 special dinners we'd missed out on ... To be honest, I was happy with how she handled it & was content to just leave it there. EXCEPT, all the day staff definitely let us know they were not happy & the snickering was very immature. I wanted to leave early, & with the amazing night staff made us feel welcome. Then we got stranded because our flights got canceled... FOR DAYS !!! All in all, is it worth it ?? Would I go back ? Unfortunately, Not ! Because we spent days at the airport chatting with the other stranded guests the general consensus from everyone seemed to be the same. Disappointed, Seriously Beautiful on Insta, Though ! The magic of marketing ... Food is Average & Expensive Drinks are Average & Expensive Accomodation is not without its own issues & Expensive No Communication is the biggest Issue I'd call it a 3 star resort , We had some really great accommodation in Santo whilst waiting for our flight to finally depart ..."
